I notice that it was changed to a regular ban though. In that thread he says a Mod was investigating "something". I will try to look around for more info.

 

He's suspected of scamming and covering it up, but really that thread screams guilty conscience to me.

 

Thats too bad... he seemed like a really good guy to me Genuinely helpful and very friendly.

Can you elaborate any further on what happened with the "investigation" into the alleged scamming, and what the final verdict has been? It appears that he has been banned now as the self-requested rank has been replaced.

 

You'll have to ask Cosrob, I think he is the person who was investigating.

Thanks wulf, cant believe friends did that though, we swapped runescape accounts in 09 (back on my old sythe account that I forgot password to) and I had it up until I quit, I talked to her alot and I was a member on her site :s (tripsis? i think)

Why was teh99prayerkid banned? Wasn't he just unbanned less than a week ago?

Screams to me that he was guilty of something he was never like that.

 

If I'm not mistaken, he scammed a white partyhat. A report was made a whike ago wirh little proof, but Corsrob realized that, over the next week or so he increased his spending by--surprise!--the value of a white. It was only enough for suspicion; I don't know what the hard proof ended up being. Like I said, trying to save face with a SRB immediately after being confronted only confirms my personal suspicions...

Not really. It's more the lack of proof he can provide to explain everything.

 

I actually found & was reading the scam report about the white party hat incident earlier this morning. You can read it here:

There is no actual evidence in the report, and n4n0 seemed to brush it off after suspecting this newcomer probably dealt with an impostor and simply handed over his phat without requesting a PM or checking e-mails. That is bizarre that his budget was all of a suddeny increased by the cost of a white though :huh:

Also - his current ban is related to something totally different than this old scam report. There was no evidence for the white party hat scam either, so I don't think its fair to make any assumptions about him based on that, especially since his current ban is due to a completely unrelated issue (or this is what I have gathered from talking to him this morning on MSN).
