Hello everyone, YoHoJo here.
A 2003 SCAR/Simba/SRL veteran!
Many of you who frequent the SRL forums may know me, I post A LOT there!

Simba/SRL is known for it's mature community and teaching/learning atmosphere.
The bot itself, as well of all the scripts are open source, allowing anyone and everyone to be able to improve and develop on the bot , as well as write their own scripts. In fact, learning to script is highly encouraged and learning to be a good coder and community member is THE ONLY way to rise through the ranks! (Money means NOTHING to us! )

Due to these reasons SRL has THE most comprehensive tutorial sections of any botting site out there. From beginner to super advanced, the SRL tutorial section has a plethora of knowledge for scripters of any ability.

Some beginners were quite overwhelmed by the amount of reading and information they had to absorb in order to get started, and some just liked the idea of having a voice/person reading and teaching along.
(Don't let this discourage you from checking out and reading the tutorials our there! They are very noob friendly! My videos simply serve as supplemental material to get your feet wet or get down and dirty without covering the nitty gritty!)

For this reason I've started creating video tutorials of my own tutorials as well as tutorials made by the other wonderful users of SRL. Now with 1,000s of views and 100s of great feedback, 100s of beginner and intermediate scripters alike have gotten a great initial grasp of and even dove further into Simba/Pascal programming. Many have even released multiple of their own scripts to the community!

Tese tutorials are made for people of ALL LEVELS of programming experience, starting with people with ABSOLUTELY NO experience at all and becoming more advanced as I create more.

Just want to spread the knowledge so everyone can make their own, or at least get some basics down for now and see that it's pretty fun and easy to script! You can make whatever you wish with enough patience and asking for help !

These are definitely needed. 99% of the people here don't know about Simba's scripts that are already available to everyone. They keep waiting on those push-to-pay bots. The lack of intelligence around here is shocking...

Wow, I had no idea that it was that easy.

I haven't even checked simba out, but I was able to watch the first two of your videos and I'm going to watch the rest tomorrow. Hopefully I'll start scripting soon!

Anyone give me an estimate on how hard it is to make simple scripts in RS like bone burying ect?

 

It really all depends.

A bone bury and banker would be pretty damn simple as it requites no walking or complex object finding, could be done in just a few lines at the very simplest. It would be a great first script to attempt for sure.

I'll be making a lot more videos over time as I get chances to, and will update you guys here and let you know.
I'll maybe even make an install video for the new guys .

Goes quite in depth, but it seems alright.

I think this one fits the most, and most people interested in bots look in this section anyways, so I like it here.

Ohh man you think that's in depth, check out the actual picture/text tutorials! Those are the ones that really go in depth! Mine's more down and dirty understand it go go go way!

when you press the youtube button only use the end of the video in the url for example here is a link of a vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzeZhCt5PVA
all you need to put in the hash tags are the HzeZhCt5PVA then it will show up.
