Does jagex have a sythe account?

Interesting to me... ppl always censor stuff but are they really looking?

 

Hmm it does raise a good point. I doubt the bigger figures in Jagex pay attention to Sythe but I'm sure a few of the Admins have been here before, looking for people to ban.

But I would block out the name anyways, it can always be reported by people looking to screw you over for fun Be careful out there, I've lost too many accounts and spent far too long trying (and finally) getting most of them back.

Technically they dont need one. You dont need to register to view our forums.

Yes it is I used to use Sythe's tut's on RSPS's and never had an account. So yea Jagex doesn't even need to be registered, neither does anybody else.

Basically if you don't block out your name or if you do accidentally leak your RS IGN then any random person could report you

 

I doubt they have an account, maybe every ONCE in a while they might come look at the forums, but I don't think they have dedicated people who stare sythe down and try to ban their members.

 

Read the terms & conditions when registering I don't think Jagex is allowed to be here.

In the ToS, there's a thing where it says Jagex can't register on the forums.

 

They cant register but they can snoop around cant they? Theres no way to prove that they here. unless you know all the ips that jagex use.

 

How can a simple ToS stop them from viewing the website ? Are they IP blocked ? If so , how did Sythe manage to get a hold of their IP address ?

 

Because if Jagex try's any shit with Legal purposes Sythe can counter sue them for breaking the T.O.S within Sythe which States any Jagex worker isn't aloud.

There isn't I doubt Jagex will start registering from there main IP/Port so they might have Mod Mark or someone undercover to do it, and even if they did it's not like they can do anything but lurk these forums.

 

Do guests have to agree to the tos too?

 

I highly Jagex employees spend much time lurking these forums, but I am sure that they pop by from time to time. Probably not so much to ban RS accounts, but more so to make sure they know what the current black market/botting trends are and things like that. For example, like when botting was HUGE not so long ago, I have no doubt that Jagex employees would look around to see what sorts of bots there were, find out how they worked and what sort of operations people were running etc.

Just to be safe though, I usually block out my RSN when posting pictures of my accounts, but to be honest I don't think it really matters much.. there are many users on this forum who do NOT block out their RSN's, and have very wealthy RS accounts, as well as a very large and public trading history here on Sythe. If Jagex really wanted to, they could ban those users in a second... but they don't. I think at this point they are more interested in the big RWT guys, most of which whom wouldn't be stupid enough to post their RSN and use mules anyways. Most of the users who post about Runescape on these forums are very small RWT'ers and actually play the game fairly legitimately on a daily basis, and spend lots of money on RS. I don't think Jagex would want to lose those players.

 

Of course they don't, do all the other games on here that you can buy stuff on also have members of the actual game... no.

 

As it is against the Sythe TOS they do not have someone on here.

Using the same logic, I can say that because gold and account trading is against the Runescape TOS no one does that either.

Oh wait .... Of course Jagex has been on here.
