Okay, so, first off, I'm weird. I don't like Runescape and I don't play it, but I really like to make software for it. Anyway, a few of you might have used Eternity while it was still updated, but after a while the code got messy from hasty updates and the interface was apparently not very practical for everyday use.

I'm making a new client, but since I don't play I don't know what features people really want and don't know what kind of layout to have. When I made Eternity, I had a bunch of features nobody ever touched that I worked hours on which was frankly disappointing.

Anyway before I write an entire essay, I need someone or some people I can talk to (most likely PM) on a regular basis asking for advice on design ideas. You can send me drawings of what you think it should look like, lists of features, etc. I essentially want to make the perfect runescape client.

Anyway, post here or pop me a PM if you think you'd like to help me out :)

I liked Eternity but it was kind of boring. I used it for a few months but then I switched to QK, because QK looks better overall and it's easy to navigate through.

I'm not sure if it's possible to add, but maybe a sidebar link to let people to go to RS help sites quickly, like Runehq or Rswikia.

Keep the IRC of course, however is it possible to make it on the bottom like SK, or maybe make it load up in a small window? It gets kind of annoying trying to click back and forth on the tabs.

I guess you can add an auto clicker/mouse recorder, many people seem to want that. I personally have no use for that.

Honestly, try to change the colors to colors that are more appealing. White/grey hurt my eyes and it discouraged me from using the client. Maybe darker colors, or an option to let us pick a few colors we want that you provide us with.

Good luck, I'm looking forward to the new client :p

Okay, I'll definitely consider all of that. Is it okay if I PM you if I need to?

A tab to check high scores would be beneficial for people which stake

Well first off, I think you should go for a very appealing design. I use Swiftkit mostly, and alot of the colours are horrid and so I usually set it to something that is easier on the eyes rather than some of the bright colours they offer. When I downloaded QuantumKit, I really liked the design of it much more than SK. If you could design a smooth, modern looking layout that is easy to find your way around, easy on the eyes, and has all the main features easily accessible, I think that would attract alot of people.

Also, some of the things that I use on SK on a daily basis:

    - Calculator
    - Skill calculators/skill planners
    - Armoury (love this feature!)
    - Highscores
    - MP3 Player (another fantastic feature. Uses less lag then when I have an additional program such as Itunes open)
    - Screenshot button & folder! (extremely handy for PKers/drop loggers etc)

    Some suggestions:

    - A GE tracker that keeps track of all your merches/flips and any items you are buying/selling

    - Easily accessible Monster database, where you could pull up info about certain monsters such as weaknesses, good gear setups, etc. for PVM players

    - Dungeoneering help - I dont know how much of this is possible, but this plays on QuantumKit's dung help which is very useful:
    • Look up teams stats
    • See who has specific skills needed for doors
    • Skilling info (ingredients to make pots, items needed to make bows/armour/arrows, etc)
    • Dungeon map to help track your path, displayed constantly on screen.
    • Key tracker that keeps track of which keys you have, and which keys you still need when you uncover new doors
    • Quick boss lookup to look up boss stats, weaknesses, strategies etc.

I realize alot of these features are already included in other kits, but they are extremely useful and things that I would use regularly. As for the Dungeoneering help - I am new to dung and I think something like that would make dung MUCH easier to learn & improve your skills & speed, especially while learning to key.
