    • This is my current build, and its just not cutting it.
This is what I want to do with my computer.
    • SWTOR
    • Ventrilo
    • Watching movies online
    • Itunes
    • Ares
    • A multimedia video editor that comes with camera (claims to take up 1 GB of space)
    • Plus a couple emulators/ROMS

Now i'm not great with computer knowledge as of yet, but i'm thinking I should get something like this
    Intel i3 processor
with like 4 or 6 gb of ram.
    1 GB video card.
    Windows 7 - roughly 100$
    New Norton - roughly 50$
    SWTOR - Roughly 70$

    1. My budget is roughly 600-700 Could I purchase everything needed?
    2. From my current computer could I reuse some parts? (Case, Circulation fans ect. Will upload pictures later.)
    3. Would it be better to just sell what I have and add it to budget?
    4. How much better would the i5 be? any other reccomendations?
    5. If my current setup is out of my price range what would you reccomend?

You should be able to reuse everything except your motherboard / cpu / ram. You might be able to reuse your power supply depending on what it is and what video card you get. If you do reuse what you can (case, HDD, fans, optical drive, possibly PSU) then you can get what you need for well under your budget. If you want to buy all new parts, you can still do it for less than $700. I'd also recommend considering an i5 instead of an i3, should still be within your budget.

You should never have to pay for an antivirus.

    Yes
    Yes
If anyone would buy it and you don't want to use any of the important parts.
Much better. My other recommendation is an i7, but an i5 would fit your budget better. This is me recommending an i5 2500k..
I'm not quite sure what you're getting at.

For $700 you could go with a 2500k build. Best price/performance ratio.
Maybe toss a 6870 or 560ti in as the GPU.

You need a decent GPU. At least a 550 ti or 6770

This. I can tell you now the 6770 runs SWTOR perfectly (as I have one myself) alongside my first generation i5 CPU. I would recommend getting the i5 2500k. That alongside a 6770 would be beast.

Also, as Kill Dank said, don't pay for an antivirus. Either use one of the many adequate free ones, or use different means to acquire a paid one..

I see a need to pay for Antivirus, £40 a year just for Kaspersky is no problem for me at all. Also I wouldn't go for Norton free or not free, it's terrible, slows down your PC and isn't even in the top 10 for Antivirus reviews anymore. Kaspersky on the other hand is at #2 at the moment.

Anyway a GTX 550ti or higher and a i5 2500k will run games like a beast on your PC.
