n4n0's MSN HAS BEEN HACKED! Paying back those who got scammed.

I'm simply asking a question here, not trying to join the argument. Would it be considered against the rules if someone scammed a scammer x amount of money so that x amount of money could return to the original owner? I feel that concept shouldn't be against the rules, but scamming a scammer in general should.

 

Seeing all these accusations is actually scaring me that we are going to bankrupt a good man.

 

I personally don't think it should but unfortunately it is against the rules. I don't even think it is allowed to scam someone who scammed you earlier.

 

So then you can't chargeback if you were scammed...? That makes NO sense...I should be banned then, I charged my money back when I didn't receive my rsgp for a $144 trade...

 

Please don't judge, but this cash would mean a lot more to me then you think, my dad has been on e.i for 7/12 months of this year and my mom definatley does not make enough to take care of 5 people, this may sound corny or whatever I could not care less I don't know you people but the reason I was selling this cash I figured I could cash out my mills in rs for about $300 and give it to my parrents to fund a decent christmas, I am 17 but I understand for my 2 younger siblings what christmas means and I would hate to see them suffer for my dads mistakes, I decided to sell for cheaper to a trusted person because I could not afford to get scammed and this has happend to me, I have been sitting on the computer all day waiting for a response from n4n0 and have not recieved any, I understaand he has a load on his plate as well but I would appreciate if you could start handling these claims.

This is bullshit in my honest opinion. Anytime anybody gets scammed or stabbed in the back, I can only imagine what a shitty feeling it is. Everybody always says not to worry, because someday the scammer will "get what is coming to him" or "karma will get them". If a known scammer or impostor were to get banned, I would personally would not have a shred of sympathy for that person whatsoever. Why should they deserve a refund? I think it would be far more effective to force them to learn a very valuable lesson - SCAMMING SUCKS! AND IT HURTS WHEN IT HAPPENS TO YOU. Karma really is a bitch.

So if this guy Voltdax really was scammed by n4n0's impostor and his claims are legitimate, yet he was banned on Sythe recently for both ban evading AND taking advantage of a newcomer and stealing a green partyhat, he does not deserve even a single gold coin to be handed back to him. Tough titty said the kitty.

** Whoever reads this, please keep in mind that this is just MY personal opinion. I understand that to run a blackmarket website with nearly 300k people, that there must be a set of rules that everybody has to follow, and therefore scamming a scammer is still unacceptable, and must be enforced in every situation, no matter the circumstances. It just makes me sick to think of any scamming fuck getting reimbursed in ANY way because the poor little greaseball got scammed himself for once.

Another question I have - Why was this guy on n4n0's list anyways? And why did he approach him to buy RSGP? Or if n4n0's impostor approached him asking to buy gold, why did he eagerly accept and agree to a transaction, knowing that n4n0 is a Mod on a site that he is banned from?

Something just doesn't add up for me, which is most likely just because I don't know anything about the situation, their personal relationship, or the circumstances regarding Voltdax's ban (everything I said above was gathered from information posted before me). This question isn't really all that important but I would just like to know for my own curiosity.

 

I'd have the agree with Zerk on this. Simply put, karma's a bitch and will bite you in the ass.

 

Yeah, unless you just end up getting reimbursed because the other person ends up being a better person than you and decides that for some reason you deserve your money back. It kind of defeats the purpose of any sort of karmic justice being served, and that person ends up not learning a damned thing.

Well, first, you have no idea what is going on regarding the situation with Voltdax's ban, other than a few accusations that were thrown out there randomly. I don't think anyone has business talking about that publicly but the staff, so it's a bad time to start making up theories. It was already said by upper staff members that the "proof", which displayed he supposedly stole a green p hat, was fake.

Second, I'm not sure if you're aware (because it doesn't seem like you're involved in the market much), but Mods, as well as other users, sell gold/accounts to banned members all the time. Especially members that were banned for unlawful reasons.

 

Young Money is correct. I bought two accounts off of a member here when I was temporarily banned for infraction violations, it was stupid of me to be a smart-ass, but some things I couldn't contain or refrain from saying.

The trades went smoothly, and I'm still happy with them, it's all up to the buyer/seller to determine the level of trust they have between the other user.

I've traded hundreds of users who were banned for one reason or another. The fact is, I can't just be allowed to scam someone just because they are banned from Sythe. That makes no sense.

Yes I agree that if they were banned for scamming then obviously they should have to repay their debts one way or another. But I am not willing to throw my reputation down the drain to scam a user who is already banned for scamming. Scamming is still scamming, even if it is indeed scamming a scammer.

Fact is, if indeed Voltdax is banned for scamming a green partyhat, that doesn't give N4N0's hacker free reign to scam it from Voltdax and it also doesn't grant N4N0 immunity from paying back that user. Sorry.

Sorry for the double post but i saw this directly afterwards, it just makes absolutely no sense that you were scammed for 3B Yesterday and you randomly hear he got hacked today and make a mention of it and then state that you will post pics of a MSN convo.

If you were truly scammed "3B " in common sense theory you would have immediately contacted some one of power and made it clear.

 

This is really unfortunate, I've been scammed in the past and I know how it feels.

Tell that to the person nate scammed 10b who didn't report it for a month later?

 

1---Some people wait until you have alot of trust then when you do they hit you hard and get you banned. Example

Viou scams someone 5b and its the first trade. A month later he might have sold that 5b and gotten alot of vouches ect, the person who got scammed then reports it and bam, viou would be banned and wasted his time, as most people get trust so they can do better trades liek bulk gp or acc trades ect.
*VIOU IS JUST A NAME, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM, HE IS JUST USED FOR A MADE UP EXAMPLE.


2---what ive calculated the scammer got away with 5-10b from just normal random ppl and 21.5k$ from one person, after browsing this thread alone.

3---Everyone should haver their msn settings to save the convo log,so that even when msn gets closed, you still have the logs. With that a mod or someone could verify if it was the scammer who scammed you by liek teamviewer.

4---My deepest and most sincere appologies for your loss.As i believe i saw in a msn screeny, he was buying a new car and he was using a proxy. If there was no proxy, then we coudl give him a junk acc get his ip ect, but alas, he is using an ip so thats not possible :/ :'(

Im very sorry for your loss, i hope that scammer gets banned and i wish you the very best luck. As of now onward if your msn is still hacked, i believe that any scams after now should be partially given or none given as you have made an annoucement and are making everyone aware. Its liek saying, okay im going to get scammed on purpose by the imposter just to grieve N4N0. Reports should be veified very well.Also, if you tilt your screen back, you can usually see that there is odd discouloration around the words/line.

Once again my sincere apologies, i hope you can get this all back and working.You seem very nice as i believe you technichally dont have to refund everyone, at least the full amount anyways.
