Apple Juice - Apparently Bad For You?

It is November 30th, 2011, at nearly 10:00 PM.

I was watching my local news channel and apparently extracted apple juice is bad for you. Researchers claimed it can have more arsenic levels than that of river or lake water -- natural water. Arsenic is a semi-metal material. It is odorless and tasteless, but can cause slightly harmful effects on your body.

Abit off-topic, but Apple Sugar is drenched with sugar, so you might aswell drink soft-drink right?

So I just view juice and soft drink as the same thing now, both are loaded with sugar, through plain additives or what not.

 

There was a warning here in South Fl about the apple juice not too long ago,

Dude.. Apple juice is bad ass. How in the world can extracted apple juice have traces of Arsenic. Meh, I hope this is just true for a few apple juice brands not the whole shabang.

 

Apples naturally poisonous, just very slightly.

 

Juices are already unhealthy for you. Eating the actual fruit is much better so just do that.

 

The amounts they are finding are less than 10 ppb (parts per billion) which in many states is even considered passing. And not even 1 in 10 have those levels. Imo the health benefits of apple juice even considering the risk of arsenic is still way better than say a coke or a beer.

 

Lol, I'm glad I don't really drink apple juice, or any juice really.

 

I read this on Yahoo news, it wasn't just apple juice but juice in general.

I myself don't drink juice often but it's crazy how juice doesn't have a set arsenic level like most water does.

Most fruit juices are not healthy as they contain a lot of sugar.

 

I only drink un-sweetned ice tea with lemon, diet dr.pepper, milk, and water. Besides, those trace amounts can't be harmful as long as you don't drink it daily.

 

every bloody day they come out with something being bad for you because its got xxx in it, its time to stop caring, because theres not a single thing that you can eat that wont bloody kill you these days, just gotta take it into moderation
