Skyrim is shit

2nd time being near the end of the main storyline, 2nd time getting some shit quest bugs that have been out since launch that make it impossible for me to complete the storyline. Pretty fucking dissapointed. They could've at least added console commands for console if they weren't going to finish the game.

Hate it, story line is simple shit, mages guild is three quests and no proficiency in magic and suddenly you're arch-mage, gear and alchemy/ingredients is severely hindered, lockpicking is much too easy, sneaking is impossible. Absolutely impossible. You get bounty if your partner sees you break a law. Fall damage is all or nothing, you either brush it off, or you explode into a thousand tiny pieces on impact. Range is too easy, there's no need to consider the distance you're shooting as it automatically adjusts the firing angle to make the arrow travel to your cross hairs. Dragons are easy as fuX to kill. The "cause and effect" engine they claimed to be so extravagant is hardly a noticeable feature. Cities are TINYYYYYYY. You get the same old gear to choose from from level 1 all the way to 40 at the least.There's no quick way to change weapons and spells besides "favorites" on the PC. The PC graphics fuck up way too much. There's always some graphic element that's not rendering as it should, whether that be fire, the color in bodies of water (only shows surface reflection) or other magic effects such as "clairvoyance".

Features I do enjoy are the masks and shouts. They give you something to work at collecting after completing the simple as fuck story line. But even then, this introduces a few problems. One is the Grey Beards all but disappear after you finish the main story line. They're not at High Hrothgar anymore, so there's no easy way to find new Thu'ums without cheating by looking up their location on the internet. I also hear that the Thieves guild is fun albeit easy until the very end of that story line.

Sneaking is NOT impossible, at least not in caves. I've done it several times. What is your Sneaking level?
I once survived a fall with very little health left. Screen turned red.

don't be a pussy mage, the lockpicking mechanic is million times harder than previous two tes games, sneaking is overpowered and unbalanced as fuck, partners suck, use the ethereal shout if you're going to jump off cliffs, what the shit is that why i miss all my long range shots, because i adjust my aim? dragons have 6 limbs, haven't noticed any new systems, cities suck, i don't understand what you mean with the armor. Yes there is, use the fucking quick keys (favorites menu, push a number slot) and yes horrible terrible

I guess there could be issues if they're not both the same type. If they were, I could just slap on resistance trinkets and dragonplate and proceed to wipe the floor with them.

I got bored of the game overall too. Dragons are stupidly easy at 29, already have full dragon plate and can make whatever armor/weapons I want.

My friend can one hit dragons with his ranged (wtf?).

The story is also weird, like mohtasa mentioned you can become an arch mage without really doing much.

bethesda games always have major bugs before the GOTY edition, you should have waited, or at least bought it for PC

but even with the bugs, it's fun as hell, just as good as oblivion so far

 

I don't use any magic to pick locks, I could do Expert and Master when I was only level 15 lockpicking. There's no skill involved. You find a place where it starts to turn, memorize the angle, and keep trying in that vicinity until it turns all the way

And yeah, bows auto adjust the angle

andand yes, greybeards tell you where one is generally located. But I guess it'd just give me a reason to play longer if I have to search each and every dungeon for words
