Attack/defence leveling methods

right now i am looking to get 70 attack, i have a few questions. i want 70 for a whip to train defence on my pro tank, would 70 attack and 1 strength be effective when training my 72 defence up to 75? just any ideas would be great thanks

 

Get a Good high level FC and do soulwars or Dominion tower or ape atoll. Goodluck.

You won't do any better with 1 strength, no matter what you're training with.

70 attack isn't really worth the extra combat levels either. You should consider 60 attack for brackish blade with maybe 40 str?

 

i can get 70 attack and 59 str levels without leveling once in combat.

You will get 3/4 at most with 70 att and 1 str, as i did it before. Its very slow, not worth it.

 

If you are going to train with 1 strength, it will take forever

 

Get the highest str you can without leveling and train def with whip at zammy warriors at chaos tunnel

 

You could try soul wars, that might turn out to be a better alternative.

 

No, one strength will do nothing for you, but whips can't train only strength, so your best bet would be to either get those strength levels and waste the time training with low strength, or just lug it out at soulwars for a day or two and get the zeal for those three levels.
