Advice on meeting Korasi reqs? + 99 attack!

Just wanted to post an update about my Barrows Pure... I got 99 attack yesterday evening, and knocked another goal off the checklist. Almost finished this character!

I am now beginning another mini-project on this character, and one of my final goals to finish, and that is to get the requirements for The Void Stares Back & obtain Korasi's sword. I figured it would be a good idea to have this sword for PVP because it is a cheap, throwaway spec weapon that is a good alternatice to dragon claws, and because it is a ridiculously cheap and overpowered weapon, and so if you can't beat 'em, you might as well join 'em and get your own

STATS THAT I NEED TO ACHIEVE:

- 50 - 70 construction (was thinking of making 1300 oak larders. Cost approx. 4M)
- 50 - 70 firemaking (Lighting 5100 mahogany logs. Cost approximately 120k )
- 65 - 70 smithing (Superheating 5000 gold ore with goldsmithing gauntlets. Cost approx 1M.)
- 61-70 crafting. (Need suggestions for this one the most... anything that is not too expensive and can be achieved in decent time)

Up above I have listed the skills that I must raise, and the gap between my current level and the level required for the quest. I also listed the methods that seem to be the best, in terms of speed/cost effectiveness. If you know any methods that are BETTER than the ones I am considering already, please let me know! Your advice & suggestions are greatly appreciated.

The skill that I really need advice for is crafting. I have explored & calculated up a few different methods tonight, and everything is either very time consuming, or overly expensive. I would love to just cut gems or something and get it done with right away, but I don't want to have to waste 10M just to get a measly 9 crafting levels, nor do I want to spend a full week threading 12k coifs just because it will save me a little bit of $$. Looking for something in between, the "golden" method if you will

I made gold bracelets from 60-80 crafting and actually profited but its not fast or anything. They sold relatively easy too.

 

I did molten glass to 70 crafting. It was fairly cheap and didn't take too long. However, I am not 100% sure due to bots being removed how the price changed.

 

I know a very quick method is making dragonhide armors. I believe at your leve you can make some form of green d'hide armor, if its the bodies then I've heard that's a good method if you want speed. However if I remember correctly, its pricy.

 

Just plain gold bracelets? I will definitely look into this. Even if its fairly slow, it might be worth it if I could actually make a profit or break even. I am more concerned about a slow method that is still going to cost me lots of cash. Considering the fact that I am planning on superheating gold ore for smithing exp anyways, I am going to have atleast 5k gold bars when I am done to either sell/put towards crafting. At my current level, I can make green dragonhide vambs and chaps I believe. I either need around 6k vambs (6k dragonhides), or 3k chaps (6k dragonhides). The price of green hides right now is quite pricey, and I checked the profit you would make from selling your goods back, and its only a sliver of what you would spend. This method would be extremely fast though, so I've been told. So if I decide in the end that I just want to get there as fast as possible then I will keep this in mind. Thanks for the input.

I am actually having a big problem with this guys, everything is so ridiculously expensive!! A guy in my clan just got 70 crafting and he was telling me earlier that making green d'hide bodies from 63-70 only cost him 5M and was really fast. Well I calculated it up and its going to cost me 10M if I go that route. Fucking bullshit!

I even looked at Green Dragon Leather earlier today and it was like just over 3k each. I looked back a few minutes ago (6 hours later), and it was like 3.2k each. Fml.

I am just about to finish 70 smithing, and I was wanting to do crafting next but I just can't figure out what to do.

 

I did dhide bodies when they were cheap. I wouldnt worry about price, just get a quick and be done with it.

 

I was going to do D'hide bodies. Like I was saying, my friend did it recently and only spent 5M he said. But its going to fucking cost me 10M! Fuck that!

I think I am just gonna say fuck it and cut sapphires and lost 6M. Its relatively quick, and "cheap" compared to some of the other methods I am faced with. Idgaf anymore, I just want to get it done with so that I can move on
