Change SCAR section into Simba section

Simba is what is mainly used for Runescape, SCAR is virtually dead now. I don't even think Freddy1990 bothers to update it anymore. It'd be worth it to archive the whole thing and rename the sections to match Simba instead of SCAR.

Okay, so it gets updated. Simba is still the leading bot for Runescape over SCAR and offers far more functionality.

 

I agree, Not many use SCAR compared to Simba. Personally I think Freddy1990 would be better off helping with Simba than continuing with SCAR or atleast making SCAR more RS focused.

 

I've talked to him a few times, he's very proud of his work. I don't think he'd switch anytime soon.

 

I fully agree. Simba should have a section because it's more popular and the Scar section isn't too active.Or instead of replacing them combine them?

SCAR has always been dead compared to other bots, so that's not really a valid reason to do anything...

Again, SCAR has never been the leading bot, and most likely never will be; not a real reason to change anything considering that's how it has always been.

With that being said, I full support adding a Simba section with forums/a forum as it most likely will be gaining momentum as time goes on.

 

Scar is not dead, it just been under used for 2 years.
Scar was amonst the tops from 2003-2009 when simba didn't exist and majority of scar users went to simba.
Scar is currently working, got a few scripts and its working on improving its own include.


As much I love scar and simba; I think the reasonable move should be a single sections for bot and sales and maybe have subsections for scar/simba/rid/java.../other bots sales and discussion for each bots.

 

I think it's a good idea

1-section for general simba
2-sales section for scripts
3-section for help

 

I agree, there should be a section included for Simba as well as keeping SCAR too, though a sales/help section would be unnecessary, but I'd think it'd still be a nice idea.

 

I agree with this. Reflection or Injection bots never had their own sections.

 

Can the section atleast be moved up a little bit? I agree with what M_A_I_N_FTW said, but if their sales and such for it, I genuinely think it shouldn't be such at a dead place on Sythe.

 

I support in a combined section for both scar & simba.

 

Just add simba section there and leave it as it is.

I actually designed the RSbot section back when it plagued RS-cheating.
Anyway it seems like Simba is the only viable, free bot right now until GL bots make any progress.

 

I think we should just create a general macro-section or just remove scar all-together. Its been dead way too long now.

 

Scar is growing, let it grow instead of killing it right now.

 

Such a shame for what a talent he is for us since SCAR is no way as user friendly for RuneScape as Simba. Simba/SCAR botting needs to be revived again and we here at Sythe could help with it.
