What do you TRULY do for excitement?

I'm talking, that amount of excitement and fun you'd have as a little kid, when everything was fun.

Kind of lacking excitement in my very crappy city.

 

I go sailing. I know it sounds boring boring and repetitive (which seems to be the view of just about everyone who doesn't sail), but there is nothing more exhilarating than screaming down massive waves at 30km/h with spray flying everywhere, right on the edge of control, aware right at the back of your mind that one wrong move is going to send everything tits up very hard, very fast and very painfully. The fact that all this is achieved purely from the wind just makes it even better. It's an absolutely fantastic feeling, reduces me to squealing and laughing like a 5 year old every single time.

 

As long as I was with my friends I was happy, weather it be exploring the huge woods close to our house or going to the pool. I also loved playing n64, but especially with others. Now I'm just happy if I can hang out with the girl I like.

as i kid i liked skating/surfing. if your near a beach or some sun grab a board and start mucking around, great fitness as well. if your mates can drive cruise around and talk shit at people thats always a laugh haha

 

Going to my girlfriends, couldn't ask to spend time with anyone better. Time always flies.

 

Depends what type of day. Typically I like to just smoke some nice dank, which tends to make any situation a bit more exciting. I also masturbate when I'm in the mood for excitement. Usually right after I get out of class. I come home, take my pants off, and pump one out while watching some nice porn. I also enjoy anal play and hanging out with my girlfriend.

I drive fast. Mainly on freeways and highways where I can go long distances at high speeds. The risk of cops/accidents/the rush makes me feel amazing.

Bodyboarding is da bomb. I can't seem to get the hang of surfing.

That is pretty much how I spent my summer, as I live about 15min's cycle from a beach.

 

I work on my truck. I love trucks and doing stuff to them. Always thinking of something to do to it.

 

Binge on adderall with whatever fellow basketcases i can round up and sit atop a hill overlooking the city- taking part in some of the most incoherent conversation ever to be conceived over night and until the sun rises.

 

That's a little bit of a hyperbole. I've sailed recreationally and competitively for the last 8 years and quit a few months ago to focus on other aspects of my life. While sailing will definitely always be a pleasure of mine, "one wrong move" won't really do anything drastic, short of making you capsize, which really isn't that big of a deal. Don't pull the "it might be the place where you're sailing" card on me, I live in one of the world's premier sailing locations.

To each his own, however. I'm not one to judge what your idea of out of control may be and am absolutely glad I have found another person who finds sailing as enjoyable as I do.


OT: Many, many things bring me excitement, but there's only a few that I can say are so sparse that I truly look forward to them. While partying's definitely up there, it's something I can do every weekend. I never really get the chance, however, to walk in an absolutely massive city like New York City or an extremely interesting one like Washington DC. Whenever I get the chance to walk around those two towns, alone or with someone else, I feel so happy, it's not something I can quite explain.

 

The only thing that truly excites me anymore is spending time with my gf.

When I was a chillun, me and my friends just came up with the most random shit to do. Every summer we'd be do something from morning till night, I do miss those days.

Now, it's sports, going on trips, hanging with people I actually like (always come up with crap to do).
