My shoe selling "hobby" makes me most of the cash. I'm doing a work program for school soon and we get paid like $12 per hour. The class is 12 hours a week so it isn't that bad.

 

I am a college student. I work for a group called T.S.S. (Technical Service Support) on campus. I work around my classes for college so I'm on campus all day. I make minimum wage, but every so often they throw out a raise to someone. Don't really have any funny stories other than the fact that some people really don't have a clue about computer and they try to tell you what to do. Hehe.

 

I have a small computer repair business. I make around $200 a week for working about 8 hours.

 

I work at a movie theater at a mall near where I live, I'm an usher I tear the tickets and tell people where to go and clean the theaters. A lot of funny things happen, too many to take the time to write.

 

I work at a shoe store. I'm a sales associate/cashier. I get paid $10 an hour plus 2% commission.
Funny stories? Not really...but my boss is really chill so working their is not that bad. I want to switch to a more general job, like a job at Costco or something. Just so I don't have to deal with pissy customers.

 

I work at Sonic (a fast food place for people who haven't heard of it). I hate my job, although around here it's probably the best money. I get paid $7.50 an hr(minimum wage) and I get to keep all my tips and I usualyl walk out of there with about $40-50 a day.

 

I used to work at this restaurant for about a year or so. It paid 7.25 an hour and I never got a raise. It was a pretty simple job. I never had to make any food. I just worked the drive-thru, cashier, and cleaned up stuff when necessary. The only reason I quit that job was because they transferred me to another location without asking me.

I recently applied at a hospital, and if the job description says what it really says, then I'll just be taking food trays to the patients.

 

I worked for my dad this summer, he is an entrepreneur, I went to all his meetings, did HR files at the office, and he only does it in the morning, so I get the afternoon/evening off. So basically 4 hours a day. I got minimum wage (fkcing dad) which is ($350/month for locals) and I worked 2 months and made $700. Over here the system is working per day, not hour. This year is our Sultans' (Leader of the country) 40th year in power, so the minimum wage will go up from $350 to $500 a month.

My story?: With the money I made, I spent some of it and bought a blackberry, cause I realllly wanted one. Then we went to visit my brother in Vancouver, and when I finally saw him after 4 years, I was so happy, that I gave him my blackberry. Touching?

 

Two months ago I got a job as a retail assistant at Lowes Menswear. (Yes, "At Lowes!") It's a pretty fun, east job. Oh and I get around $120 a week for 10-12 hours.

I'm currently looking around for jobs, though I'll have to wait a couple of months before it's legal to actually get one. I'd love a job in a clothes/retail store but unfortunately it looks like I might get one in a supermarket. I'm grateful for the opportunity, and it's better than fast food but still; meh. Brendan want to swap jobs

 

Lol no way. Low stress high pay for the win? Nah, working at the supermarkets generally isn't that bad (according to some of my friends.)

 

i used to work at my public library(lol) and i did get payed. Anyway i was working with 5 other guys and we actually had alot of fun telling jokes but there was this rlly weird guy that volunteered and would hang with us and one of the guys was sitting on a cart who was kinda of heavy and the volunteer guy was like you know that cart can hold up to 200 pounds. And then we started to laugh and afterwards the guy on the cart was like "did he just call me fat?". Might not seem like the funniest thing in the world but we were at work and it was pretty funny.

 

It actually can get bad depending on the kind of customers that you have that day. Sometimes, the day breezes on by and you get to joke with them. Other days, the customers complain about the price of an apple and you have to have somebody check it and explain shit. It's really a varying day.

 

i work at pizza pizza... i make pizzas like pizza hut.... also a university student i only work 2 days thursday and friday tho.

 

I work at platos closet sorting/hanging clothes, letting people in dressing rooms, cleaning, and cash register. I get $7.75/hr and i love my job. First dibs on clothes too.

 

No, I don't work. And I don't ever intend on working for somebody but myself.

 

Currently in High School! I hope to pick up a part time job at a local grocery store.
