What is happening with him? He says he has an "accountant" who pays me every single time with a different PayPal. This could well mean that they are paying either with hacked PayPal accounts or their customers accounts.

They don't seem like customers, as if they were I'd be seeing shit like [email protected], I've had some many payments and most sound like middle aged people. Jennifer Clarence, it sounds fake/hacked? I mean can you imagine Jennifer Clarence buying 500m 07?

There's been a few reports I've seen of his sellers getting chargebacked, and me trading him over $5k I'm worried as I may get the same. He's also adamant sometimes on offering Bitcoin and likes to use PayPal as a last resort which I also find very, very sketchy. I've had payments which have taken hours to get to me, but when trading somebody like Divica I get the payment instantly from a company PayPal address.

Anyone else having these sort of problems with Won? Apologies if this is in the wrong section, mods please feel free to move it.

 

They use throwaway US PayPal accounts to avoid paying high fees from a Chinese account, they use it for a day or two then it gets limited. They aren't out to scam you.

 

I don't trade with them at all, they have terrible business practices.

I'd suggest just switching to another company.

 

This man speaks the truth, plus if you trade the Chinese, you're asking to be banned.

Going to agree with DD here. It's pretty much a lose lose situation; you sell them gold for PayPal, you have a big chance of the money getting held because of the throwaway accounts & you'll most likely get banned as they're chinese based.

You sell them gold for BTC, rate is (eg 1.10$/M) they send you it at "Chinese rates" and it ends up being something ridiculous as 0.95$/M in the end.

I know my boss (Sept) hasn't had many issues with them & likes them as they buy bulk gold, but I personally prefer a risk free (even if I pay 5$ more) and pleasant goldselling experience over won.

I've had no problems/RWT bans when selling to him. BTC payments are annoying to deal when the market fluctuates a lot (like early December) and there is a large difference between China/US rates, but right now his payments are within $5 of the USD value (which is less than the normal paypal fees, so that's an acceptable deviation).

 

I much rather sell to Won than get so called fair "rates" on these forums from UK/US based sellers. When I'm selling 500m-1b the .15$ which Won offers actually counts and always pays the fees for me, and to address the "free ban" situation well I have sold him about 10B now and still nothing. Sure his employees which aren't fluent in english are sometimes hard to communicate with but at the end of the day he runs a business which yields him profits and to keep those profits he will resolve any held payments

 

To be honest, i prefer Won_gold over any other buyers. I dont know hows the situation with paypal, as i always use skrill.

Hes always online, fast and easy to trade and for most of the time offers better rate that anyone.

 

You may be worried now, but remember you are dealing with one of the oldest companies here at Sythe, and they don't plan on leaving. You don't seem too avid on them offering you bitcoin? You know this is an irreversible payment? So if anything, it should show you that they are legit. Just be patient it will clear up with time.

I've never had any encounters with Won_Gold but i've never heard anything positive about them either. It's always negative. Them not sending the money within the time frame they've specified, them not sending enough money due to outrageous fees since they're from China, pretty much guaranteed bans and even on some occasions more than one of your accounts being banned. They've also had some questionable market practices in the fact that they're pretty much known throughout the RS community for buying gold from hackers/scammers at a discount due to it being hacked/stolen gold and said hackers/scammers needing to get rid of said gold in a hurry. This was also posted a few days past a year ago: http://www.sythe.org/report-scammer-archive/1792983-won-gold-buying-scammed-gold.html and knowingly buying stolen gold (which they've done for years, as have a few other companies although the consensus is generally that Won_Gold does it the most and most frequently) isn't allowed as per Sythe rules, but no evidence has come forward of them wanting to do it AND the trade taking place, and it is unlikely to do so considering the fact that it's unlikely any of the hackers/scammers selling gold to them are going to report them and ruin that business agreement.

 

I sold gold to him the first time ever, came with a ban a day later as stated above and ever since then ive used divica/bogla for the most part.

 

he should just get a paypal holder, from america.

 

Using throwaway accounts isn't blackhat, nor ban-able. It's basically just making new PP accounts till it gets limited - rinse and repeat.

Anyway, locking this thread as it's just uninformed people posting random nonsense about him/her, without any actual knowledge pertaining to their trade practices and what is allowed/not.
