Warbands

Thoughts on the Warbands minigame and the amount of EXP you can get for free in such a short space of time?

If done correctly I gain around 250-300k exp in ~15-20minutes for really annoying skills: Farming, Herblore, Mining, Construction.

You can save so much GP & time if you do it daily, it's basically a free 99.

Is Jagex making it too easy to level up in RS3?

 

Jagex is trying to lure players back to the game. Too many are leaving; too few new bloods are joining.

 

I don't really agree with that, a lot of players are coming back to play - constantly I talk to players, such as myself who haven't played for a year or more and are coming back to play again.

 

Well actually warbands used to be a lot easier but were nerfed a few months ago.

 

^ This. Warbands were nerfed so that there is a limited amount of supplies on each world, instead of unlimited, so only 20 people can loot the camp. Warbands is a way for people to get together and do a D&D, with risk of getting no XP, or a chance of getting 250-300k xp. I personally think it's good for people wanting to speed up 99's.

 

Another shit addition to make the game easier, imo. My friend got 99 mining quicker than I'd have been able to manually. No wonder I stopped playing so much.

 

Yeah I agree, they did "nerf" it but it's just a matter of getting into the right FC and doing a 3 world raid with only the required amount of players - that way it's 100% safe and the EXP stays the same as it did when it was unlimited resources.
