[trusted]!!

My suggestion is to not allow anyone to use the phrase "Trusted" in their black market threads. I endlessly see people in the black market posting "[PAYPAL][TRUSTED]Selling blah blah!-!" and I go on to look and its some kid with five vouches claiming to be trusted. I believe it is very misleading because personally I check out the thread to see if in fact the user is trusted because I'd rather trade with someone who is truly trusted.

I quickly did a search on the word [TRUSTED] and it came up with:

So I just clicked two to see how they are "Trusted" and I find they "Have 3 vouches in profile"


FAQ's:

What do you expect us to do?
Add a rule to the black market which states the use of "Trusted" or anything related to that will be the result of a Post lock/Infraction/Ban if the problem continues.

Why would this help?
Its pretty proven that if a post contains "TRUSTED" in the title more people will view it because they believe he is trusted thus makes them feel safe enough to buy. And our not so smart members don't bother to ask why hes trusted and the result is them getting scammed. This would stop the use of that and maybe lower the scams a percent or two.(Not a lot but its better than nothing.)

Its not that big of a deal, why should we make a rule it means more work for us?
Because every little thing helps in this community. And eventually people will get that the use of "TRUSTED" is not allowed and actions will be taken against them.

Honestly, I think it is kind of a help if it is true. Because, if they truly are, you think: "Oh, well thank god this isn't a thread I will open and it is some leecher selling stuff."

Having them say [guru] or [mod] or [200+ donator] makes me want to open it because if im interested, I know their trust worthy and don't have to open every thread about the subject to check.

I agree with you but I think its kind of ironic that you have a thread saying "- trusted" when I wouldnt exactly considered you trusted with 8 vouches or w.e.

I support. I think it's pretty annoying, and new members/members with no experience, could easily fall for it if it was a scam.

Im a fire caper with like 70+ vouches so i think i have earned the [Trusted] I have in my topic. But all the new capers who just joined and elready are trusted , i want them to gtfo

[GURU] does. When you type that in a title of a thread you're selling in, it implies that you deem yourself trustworthy to others based on your 1000(+) posts.
