Trading

I understand that as a DNT rank it's pretty cut and dry. Do not trade.

However, I have a question to trading offsite. Obviously other sites aren't affiliated with Sythe and it likely isn't an issue as the DNT applies to sythe.org. Recently though I came across a discord channel that's advertised all over sythe. This channel is a hub for sythe and conducting trades. Would the DNT trade apply there?

I am talking about a offsite discord server. If that's against the rules then maybe the DNT rules should be updated to express that as it's not clear here.

I already read the rules more than once. That's the first place I went, and if I had seen a answer I would not have made this post to waste your time.

So if you aren’t sure either can you please give me some advise? I’m trying hard here man. Don’t want to break any rules or step on any toes. If I traded on say osbot it wouldn’t affect me here. How is this any different?

As far as I can tell, most of the big trading discords out there, atleast Trade Bungalow and Trading HQ affiliate themselves with Sythe because before conducting a said trade, members will proceed with a Sythe PM confirmation. Furthermore, some servers have their own custom ranks such as "Trade with caution, Sythe verified, etc" and really reflects the way Sythe is because members over there use their Sythe vouches, their respective Sythe threads and most importantly their Sythe reputations. You will most likely get hit with one of those ranks since you're a DNT on Sythe, however I'd say it's up to the respective discord Staff members if they allow you to trade on their servers or not. I don't think Sythe should start dictating if x user is allowed to trade on x discord server as Staff already has enough stuff to deal with naturally.

My personal opinion is that as long as you don't use any Sythe related arguments/assets to boost/solidify your trades ie old vouches, sales, etc. you should be allowed to trade because in the end, discord remains optional and in no way we force users to use the application.

tldr; yes, but with restrictions.

You'll be marked as a DNT on any server in which I have access to manage roles.

Most user's opt to verifying themselves on Sythe, by sending a PM with certain instructions. They then receive a "Sythe verified" role. If users don't do this, they do not receive any ranking or in some servers automatically receive "unverified Sythe user"

While I cannot control you trading or not on Discord servers, since you are DNT on Sythe, you will therefore receive a special rank in all of the most common discord servers and it will make it extremely difficult to conduct "trades"

If anyone is thinking to bypass this, good luck. We have an all star team ready to protect traders from fraud. We cannot guarantee that scams will not occur, but traders are constantly reminded to receive a Sythe PM before proceeding with trades.
