This is a first

So for the first time ever, one of the accounts my service team has trained has been permanently banned for Macroing (Major). This account was being trained by one of my workers and we have a strict policy of NO botting whatsoever on the accounts we trained. Naturally, the worker was working on multiple accounts and the other accounts he was working on did not receive a macroing ban.

I'm not 100% sure how the banning works but if my worker had been botting, wouldn't all the accounts he was working on receive a ban?

 

No, only time they ever do multiple bans at once are for RWT.

I've been chainbanned for botting, so no.

 

It's possible to be chainbanned, as Gracious said.

It's not very likely if you're not botting on that specific account, but it is possible.

 

Only a few times have I witnessed users accounts being banned non stop. Leptin and Bert had a spree were any new accounts they created were banned with in a few days. KO/Twist account's were always banned quickly as well. They never chain banned all of their accounts, I just think their I.P was flagged. It took a month or two for Leptin and Bert to finally feel safe.

 

You can be chainbanned if your IP is flagged for botting and they catch you botting on 1 account. They'll chain ban you.

 

The customer who's account got banned could have botted before handing you the account to train yourselves.

I'm not sure why the users above are posting about chain bans since only 1 account got banned and a chain ban is when 1 account gets banned the others will more than likely follow, but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

Seems that the customer must've had an IP associated with botting, which then led to the ban of this account.
