Texting while driving?

What are your thoughts on texting and driving?

 

Depends. If they can't drive while they text, then they shouldn't do it. If you can do both at the same time, then sure.

 

Shouldn't be done! Its dangerous. LIKE SERIOUSLY.

 

I don't like to do it, and I don't usually. I will read them though.

 

Well obviously it would be better/safer if people didn't.

 

Its just straight up stupid.

 

My mom does... I always steal her phone and text for her when I'm with her though...

 

You're putting your own and others lives at risk.

 

It's bad, not to mention illegal, and stupid, life threatening, dangerous, and not worth the risk.

 

My cousin does it all the time. I'm like, look at the f***ing road!!!! Omg... I get so tight when she does that.... If you're gonna be driving me, loot at the damn road.

And what I hate the most is when people say, don't worry (ex George Lopez) I GOT THIS!!!!

It's not illegal where I live.

I agree it's stupid, but I've done it before. Not exactly a huge deal.

 

I read but I don't reply. If I do, it's the, "K" or the ttyl.

Its not illegal where I live... A law was passed about it farther north in NY about it but not down here yet...

 

Not illegal here in Ohio. I tend to do it when i am stopped at a red light, however. When i had my old phone (older style with the old keypad) i could text without looking at it..so i wasnt distracted, besides reading it.

 

If you absolutely have to text someone, do it at a stop light. If you're doing it while driving, well...you should definitely find out if your parents are siblings.

 

All about priorities. They'll stop after something bad happens.

It's legal here to. I talk but usually don't text while driving.
I might text every now and then at a red light or stop sign. That's about it

 

If you can even manage to do it, I don't care.
