Had Teamviewer on an old computer. Can't remember why I had it, but I'm super glad I've never needed to download it again and now I never will. It's funny that they denied it, then said it was because of weak user passwords.

I personally don't know if TeamViewer is to blame, it would be a lot easier to create a virus and keep it undetectable if all it does is hook into TeamViewer. It may use TeamViewer as a proxy to get remote control over a computer but really who's fault is it.
That is the craziest news I've heard in a while, besides the woman throwing her child in a gorilla pen.
