We have 15 backend servers across 4 providers I have to keep happy and running in production. I check servers first thing when I get up and right before I go to bed and throughout the day no matter what else I have on. When I'm not doing that it's either legal compliance shit or fixing people's 2fa/other problems and when I'm not doing that I'm either working on the new forum software or shitposting here for your amusement. I guess that could be largely classed as masturbation.
