Again, something very simple to implement, and could save us all some time when posting.

a bump count down timer at the top of our threads, it will start to count down from 8 hours after each post YOU make on your thread, this way we don't have to scroll to the bottom where we last posted, look at the time, then do the math to see how long it has been.

Yes, I already know that people will say "Just remember when you post" or "I post at the same time everyday" well guess what, not all of us can sit at a computer all day and remember when we made a post.

So yes, very helpful idea, any support?

This is on the DNS list, and as such this thread will be quickly locked. I'm not quite sure why it is on that list though, it might be hard to code/stressful on the server to have individualised timers running on each and every thread.

The amount of time it would take you to look at this "timer" would be around the same time it would take you to work out if the eight hours have lapsed, so no support.

In all seriousness though, the maximum amount of times one should even have to look at their thread is twice. Once to work out when they can next post and a second time to actually bump it, plus that's only if they can't bump it the first time. Considering each time should only take around 5 seconds, we're talking about 10 seconds of time here. I don't know about you, but I personally think trying to shave time off around 10 seconds is pretty pointless.

Also, like Raptor said it's on the DNS list.

DNS, not adding a bump timer.
