I personally used ToR to get into the deep web back in 2012. Scary shit. The contents ranged from hiring a hitman to assassinate somebody to child pornography. Never again

yes i have been on the dark web, quite an interesting place. wouldn't suggest doing it for the peace of mind lol

I have friends who use DnM to have illegal substances shipped to them from the other side of the world. I was surprised to find out that this acctually existed.

It's a scarey world when you see guns, drugs, assassination hits, and even humans being sold online.

 

I was actually once offered that service by a member on Sythe a few months ago, he told me he has a friend on the deep web that can ship me cocaine and marijuana completely untraceable right to my doorstep. The surprising thing is, it actually cost less than the street value. I can't imagine anyone willing to give an anonymous person their actual address to deliver some of the most illegal substances in the world.

The trailer has peaked my interest in the documentary so I'll probably check it out. I have my doubts about Ross's conviction.

As for the "Dark Net" itself, it's not some scary place. Sure there's a load of cp, gore, and the works, but you don't just wander into it. I feel that the people who are surprised you can buy drugs on the internet live under a rock. You can go on Instagram and buy narcotics, Tor just adds another - safer - layer.

As for me, I have found Tor and the "Dark Net" incredibly useful, but I'm no longer overly confident in it's ability to keep individuals anonymous due to the fact that the NSA controls an exorbitant amount of the computers that connections are routed through.

A lot of people use drop addresses that they can pickup their orders from. It is also illegal for your mail to be searched without a federal warrant (in the U.S.) when going through the USPS which makes it very safe to ship through.

 

Well, I didn't know about it, but it will sure be interesting to watch it.

The first time I got in the deep web was about 2-3 years ago. I saw couple things like an experiment with homeless and shit lol, pretty disturbing shit, and also tried to enter silkroad just to see and strangely it didn't open for me.

 

Watched it and it was good. I feel very sorry for Ulbricht. His punishment is isn't fair. And personally, I don't think the assassination request chatlogs are real.
