Why the hell are these things shooting up in price all over the place.

Mask are 70m + and street price is like 100m.

It seems like everything has gone up in price, anyone know why?

 

because more people are playing and the amount of rares is decreasing (because accounts being banned, people quitting, etc.)

 

Or merchanters...

They might crash soon.

 

But what about all the other non rares shooting up?

do you know how long?

 

They are going to take a dip soon obviously but it will come back like it always has. Why is this any surprise? There is more demand and the amount of rares is lowering and lowering when time passes. That simple. And it will continue to raise.

If anything is guaranteed a crash soon it will be Santa hats. Chessy has a HUGE amount of santas and can sell them anytime she wants. Realize that.

 

How many does she have, its not like she doesnt have enought money...

 

Rares will always go up. Period. 13 million players, and a limited supply of rares. Simply supply/demand.

 

rares. they are rare to get. higher prices... + merch clans. they will be dumped soon probs

 

Just imagine if you heavily invested in rares a few months ago..oh god the profit.

 

It's not only rares though more or less everything is going up fury is like 8m now?

 

Last i checked, they were closer to 9m.

And i've been wondering the same thing, i thought i'd buy a couple santa's over christmas, but it doesn't seem to be happening .

I know it was 4 month ago but she probably has more. The video shows 6 piles of max cash and 1k SANTA hats.. She could of easily bought more since then. Think about it. And she can just sell em all at once ANY TIME.. It is truly possible.

Where do you get 13 million players? There is only around 150 thousand active RuneScape players online average per day. Weekends tend to have 170 thousand.. If you mean accounts that are not active that have rares then yeah that also is a factor. People getting banned, quit, all that whose accounts contain masks, santas, phats, and such...

 

Supply and demand. Demand has gone up a lot, and supply is constantly going down.

I was thinking about buying 3 easter eggs when they were 4M each, but I was a dumbass and thought that they wouldn't go up.
Every thread about rares is like a swift kick to the balls :'(

 

I think the problem is purely the grand exchange system. Everything is funneled through the GE so it allows rich players or even merchanting clans to bulk buy (or even buy out) items such as rares. Even though the rares may still be in the game, the fact is they're not out there on the GE for sale. This means the demand is no longer being met and therefore shooting up the prices of what ever item this happens to.

 

Furys are close to 9mill, are u kidding me... i got mine when they were 1.5m?
Have they seriously gone up that much? Has everything increased by such a large margin, sigh... i knew i should have invested in a mask or two back when they were still 12m, when i stopped playing o_o

Dam, i think ima play again soon, so looking what to expect there.

Yep I bought my green about 5 updates ago at max I plan on saving it for a lonnnng time. I think greens are going to overtake blues in price. any thoughts?

 

It won't happen. Blues are going for over 80m in world 2 and you can still get a green for max g/e or 1-5m over in world 2 on a bad day.

 

Wonder how high mask prices are going to escelate to at the end of this major rise
