What has this game turned too?

Someone got 79m Xp in a day and some other dude 178M xp in 2 days. This promotions are killing the game...

 

That's not just runecrafting, it's promotions in general. Without promotions, RC is still only 110k/H.

 

Promotions ruined rs3 skilling.

 

EoC xp rates are so inflated. I wouldn't put it past Jagex to one day increase the max xp you can get in a skill.

 

That would make the game a bit more competitive to nowadays I guess, 1b xp in each skill.

 

There is a Treasure Hunter promotion going on at the moment. You can do the same thing with Summoning through the rifts. Do note that to get the experience you're talking about these people would have to have spent $5,000 on this EASILY. I spent $100 and got 3m exp in Runecrafting.

 

RS3 has become trash. End of.

 

Or just spend unlimited amount of gp, but yea.

 

That is absolutely ridiculous; both parts, the grind and the amount of XP.

 

yup, rs3 sucks.

 

Atleast the microtransactions buyers are funding the game, gotta think positive.

 

The higher tier skill capes allow the inflation of xp per hour to be somet what reasonable? kappa. Its got damn awful cant wait for them to bring it to 07 l0l.

 

Skills are not the main part of RS3 anymore, raids and bossing is. That's why they put out these crazy promos (also to get $$$ ofcourse)

 

After the squeal of fortune was released, Jagex reached a new peak in profits. Don't think it will ever go away.

 

Peak being the key word. Their profits dropped by 90% the following year.

 

Some Chinese mining company just bought Jagex for $300 million, so there might be some changes from that. Might go either way when you think about microtransactions. Let's hope they will nerf it a bit.

 

Don't think so they will be wanting to make there money back xd. Don't see the game growing atm so guess they will implement a cash cow for themselves? In relation to the thread it's going to increase the amount of xp gained gg rs.

 

The game isn't going downhill. Doing better than it did back in late 2013-early 2015. (Look at bottom graph)



I don't see the game dying anytime soon. And I think they bought it more as a long-term investment and they want to keep the players playing the game. Pretty sure they are not stupid enough to add even more microtransactions to the game, as they see how people react to them. Will most likely not remove the ones that currently are implemented, but doubt they will add anything drastic.
