RSN Names

Is this right? When changing your name on rs once you change it, the name you changed it to and the name you changed from can not be taken unless, you change to something different again.

Yes I read TV's thread in the names section. I want to make sure that I have it understood or explained better to me better so that I understand.

Hope I asked this question clearly, also not sure if this is the right section for this question. Sorry if it is.

Thats correct, if you change your name from bob1 to bob2 then neither of them can be taken for a certain amount of time (not exactly sure how long it is, 28 days+ before the original name (bob1) can be taken ). If you decide to change your name from bob2 to bob3 then bob1 can be taken.

 

If you change your name from bob1 to bob2, bob1 isn't available until 2 months pass or your change your name from bob2 to bob3.

 

So the 28 days is just when you can change your name again, right?

If you don't change it after 28 days, the previous name stays reserved depending on how long it was on the account (the longer it was on there, the longer it will be reserved).
