Revs

So im thinking about making an account for killing revs to make bank. So should it be melee based with a little defence or just do defence/range or what combination of levels should i get for revs, range/melee and what levels

 

Personally, I prefer using melee to kill Revs with the Chaotic maul or rapier. You can make a perfect Rev account by simply making an account with high melee stats, preferably 90+, and get the dung up so that you can use the rapier or maul.

Defence is very important, as it's possible to take on a large amount of damage very quickly if you are not careful. You are also going to have to tank large groups of PK'ers very often, so the higher the better.

If you haven't seen my Rev log you should check it out (it is old now though, haven't been there in awhile). I was a maxed 75 def acc when I started there, and used strictly melee to kill them.

 

allright so if im going to be melee based what armor do i wear? agile? because i dont want to get ranged up really if im going to use melee, it's going to be a skiller, but ill just utilize revs to make some bank.

 

Not sure how that would work. When I imagine skillers I think low level trying to show off non-combats, a "perfect" rev killing account would be 90-99 Attk, Str, Def, HP & 95+ Prayer with turmoil as well as high dung for items like cls/rapier.

Wear a Neitz, dboots/climbers, rune legs, dhide top, barrows or rune gloves, etc. However, rev pkers camp the area now, you should expect to die multiple times per day.

 

Yeah i guess your right, idk im trying not to make it a main so hmmm...it's going to require some thought But thanks for the tips.

There's one more thing:
Do the haunted mine quest and kill tarn
salve amulet (e) works wonders on them
(if you're wondering about teleports, use ring of wealth. Also, make sure you get as many shards as you can when you get to that part).

 

can you make alot of money from revs?
