There was somebody now in World 2 selling a White Partyhat from an alt - could be yours.

A scammer would have made 2 skype accounts - one to chat with you, and another communicating with the real person.

You would ask the imposter to bump the thread, and the "imposter" would ask the real person to bump it.

Check the skype ID. Luck's ID is "live:luckyl00ter8" and nothing else.

Can someone who has him added ask him for it please. Since you are saying he bumped it because someone PMED him to bump his thread.

 

It's an issue with Skype, people can make names such as "live.luckyl00ter8" and when you search for luckyl00ter8 it'll show up. That's why you should always request a PM when going first to someone so that you know you're dealing with the actual person.

Such a stupid painful lesson for me.

I would still like screenshots from LuckyL00ter8 with PM from that other guy who told him to bump his thread at the same exact time I told the scammer to bump.

Also "bump" isn't a confirmation, it seems like Lucky has an autobumper which bumps every 8 hours to the dot. So the scammer knew when the thread was going to be bumped and contacted you.
