    "Report Solved" button.

I've been a mod on a forum where we had this. Basically, when we finish the report, we click the button that says "Solve report". Then the thread title will be updated to say "[Solved by Finn] Reported post by Necromancer24."

It basically saves time for the mods so they don't have to keep posting "done, thanks". :)

Um.. when it's moved to the archive that means it's done..

    "Report Solved" button.

Yes, but usually they post on them. Using the said button, it would post "solved by x" in the title and be automatically moved to the archive.

Sorry, i'm not sure if the current threads in the RaS section get moved automatically after they're done or if they have to be moved manually.

    1. They don't have to post if they don't want too.
    2. They have to move it manually, but it takes just as many clicks as a "solved" button

I'm failing to see how this could possibly help, unfortunately.

Could you please elaborate on your point 2?

By clicking solved, it automatically gets moved to the archive. 1 click and it's done. Moving it manually surely takes more clicks. Think about it.

Moderator options -> Move thread -> Report a Spammer Archives

Two click difference is literally two seconds. It's kind of unnecessary.

    "Report Solved" button.

Firstly, I fail to see the point of showing who solved the case when it's pretty apparent by whoever last posted/closed it.

Secondly, creating/coding said button to complete an already fairly simple task would be more work than it'd be worth. Archiving isn't too difficult.
