    Regarding reported posts

When I report a post to be removed or an edit on my thread and there's an issue in which the mod is asking for further information i'm not notified of it and it's pretty hard to find where they've posted. Usually I have to go on my profile and search for all posts posted by me which is really inconveninet.

If mods could PM the users they handle reported posts against would be helpful.

    e.g http://www.sythe.org/report-spammer-archive/1882985-reported-post-johnsonman.html

I wasn't notified of this and didn't even know the situation was going on.
It was regarding an urgent matter and it effected our threads reputation

Sorry if anythings unclear will edit when I get home.

Support. I agree that they should pm the user in question if they're requesting more information.

It's almost the exact same amount of clicks. I suppose the PM could be automated but I don't think it's necessary.

Agreed. It's up to you to reach out to the moderator, and unless you're making dozens of threads / reported posts per day, like YouSuckV2, it shouldn't be too difficult to simply take a minute or two and find the mod's response.

    Support.

Not sure why this wouldn't get supported, just awkward people who disagree with everything but their own ideas.

    Regarding reported posts

I'd suggest something like an automatic notification but then it would be too much effort for something so minor. So a PM would be convenient.

It is the amount of clicks but the difference is you are notified and reminded that you made a post of the such in the past and it is being handled.

    Regarding reported posts

Bro are you kidding.. just go into your threads made and look at your reported posts, we'll respond there.

If we're rummaging through 300+ reported posts which could take a hell of a long time we don't want to spend an extra minute sending you a PM explaining our response when you could spend 15 seconds just finding the thread after we've handled it.

Sorry but this isn't something I would ever find myself doing unless the PM needs to be sent because of something urgent

    Regarding reported posts

Just gonna add my 2 cents - You want to add work to moderators by forcing them to PM EVERY USER regarding a report they handle (which can be anywhere from 10 or 20 upwards of 50+ in a single sitting) because you're too lazy to check your reports for a response? That doesn't make any sense at all.
