Refferals question

I've never bought referrals before, and was thinking about buying some, and now have a few questions.

1. What is the ban rate like for referrals?
2. What happens if caught?
- Do they suspend your account?
- Do they remove all rewards? Including RP/IP?
3. Is it worth it overall?

 

Extremely low ban rate (depends on how many you order and who you order from, I would suggest staying under 200, maybe 150 max to be safe)
I don't think they ban you from playing but they ban you from RAF and and remove the RP/IP gained, including taking away content you bought with it. I believe it can be more risk if you send gifts and such, so keep that as low as possible.

I would say it's worth it yeah, 17k RP and 27k IP or so for £26 is good, buying legit would give you 5k or so RP for the same price. I've bought 100 on 2 different accounts and it's been fine for me.

Does it affect ranked rating if caught? I.e, do they removed borders/ranked rewards for the previous season and next?

I was thinking of getting it on two of my smurfs.

 

I don't think it would take them away if you was caught. I believe it's just a ban from referrals, well 99% of the time at least.

 

I've bought referrals on like 3-4 accounts now on NA, nothing happens; I doubt they will take much action..
edit: and definitely worth it IMO

 

What everyone said above and if you're still hesitant about buying refs on your main, I would recommend you buy them on a smurf and use the gifting option

only downside is that you don't receive any of the IP and the 2 referral skins on your main

I dont BELIEVE you get banned but then again i've never been caught so idk what will happen; definetly lose ref rewards.

I spent around $24 for alot of RP + grey ww + medeval Twitch + runepages and lots of IP. As an ADC main I get to show of the skin alot so i'd say its totally worth it.

If you do get caught they typically ban you from the referral program, sometimes you can get permanently banned from the game, though.

I think it's worth it. The rewards are great.

 

It's so worth it.

I bought it on NA then transferred over to OCE and still had all the points to play around with at the fraction of the price.

This is who I used, Matthew is a great guy to deal with, and fortunately when I purchased my 300, was nearly no queue time.

 

150+ level 10s will generally get you in trouble. you can get unlucky though.

I've found excessively high numbers like this will lead to trouble too.

100~ is safe, in my experience.

 

Two of five people i know have been banned doing referrals i think they all did 100+
