question about cap cards

I'm looking to get a capture card. People say that the ATI TV Wonder's are extremely good cards, that the quality is great. Yet when I see videos claiming they used the ATI they are just SHIT. The other option is the Dazzle pro recorder, which comes with some editing software. Which one do you guys think is better? If I get the ATI one, I'll be getting the ATI TV Wonder HD 650. Yes I understand its internal, I've built computers in the past, and am a network admin at my school. ATI costs $130, while dazzle only costs $90, with software included as well. Opinions?

Yes ATI is a nice Cap card as well except its not very good for gaming..

 

thats not what I've heard. Most Halo forums say the ATI is the best for capping xbox. Do you have any factual information to discredit this? You seem to be making a big statement. All a capture card is doing is recording the TV. It doesn't matter whats running through it, its all just a component output, the same as any TV signal.

 

Dazzle. Look at all the people on JTV. They all use it, and it's got great quality.

Well it depends on what ur trying to do for instance say stream through jtv.

 

Dazzle DVC 100 is the best cap card imo.

 

I'm not, I'm just asking for FACTS about why one is better than the other. My mind is not made up, I'm only leaning towards the ATI. The only thing stopping me is seeing videos with shitty quality. Now if they said they were using some shitty 25 dollar ATI cap card, I wouldn't be asking this. But I'm not sure what those videos are using.

You can ask cambo why I play on an MLG 50, I've told him the story. I used to be a lot better, then I stopped playing, and my friends continued to play and get better. Now there is a considerable difference between me and them. Now I'm trying to get better again. And the games played with oh I2iginal don't count, that wasn't me. the last game with uk gH05T I was trying to learn overlifting on narrows, which is why I went -19. Now I can overlift quite fine. If you don't know what overlifting is, its when you lift farther than normal, and can land on the ledge next to the mancannon, so you can run right into snipes. It's also called a long jump. I'm uploading a tutorial to youtube right now. Harped, get off my ass, your a faggot. Why do you even look this up, are you jealous?

And no, I'm not making a social montage. I'm helping 2 friends make a dualtage for them, and they've even asked if they can use some of my MLG clips from way back before playlist progression. When it's done, I'll point out the ones that are mine.

Why make the topic asking whether or not to get ATI or Dazzle if all you're going to do is say ATI is better whenever anybody suggests a Dazzle? Logic would seem you want an ATI, so why make the topic asking which one to get?

On topic: I have a dazzle. It's definitely not meant to be a high end capture card. Dazzles are meant to have decent quality while at the same time have mobility and ease of use. If you're trying to get stunning HD quality, obviously you are going to want to buy an internal card.
