[POLL]Construction Advice [POLL]

Hey all,
I'm going to be doing construction on Saturday and I was wondering, Oak larders or Oak doors for exp and Gp wise? I'm going to be buying 50k Oak planks for this. I'm 80 con also.

I've tried working out which is better but I'm still not sure. Thanks!

 

One door uses 10 planks and thus earns 600xp. You can make two per inventory for a total of 1200xp.

One oak larder uses 8 planks and thus earns 480xp. You can make three per inventory for a total of 1440kxp.

The correct answer depends on your speed, if you can easily create and then remove two objects and have time left over before your servant returns, then larders are the best. If you are struggling to do it quickly enough to keep up with the servant then oak doors are the best.

Larders.

 

Doors. Oak planks have a set amount of XP, the fact is that you're going to clear an inventory in 2 doors vs. 3 larders... Just make sure you send your servant away after you remove the first door.

 

For speed go for doors

 

Oak Larders are better

 

I personally would say Oak Larders.
You only get a total of 1200xp per invy for doors.
You get 1440xp per invy with Larders.

I could make a suggestion:
If you have the money, do Mahogany Dining Tables until 99. They're much much faster xp.
They are only 6 planks per table, 840 xp each table, and you get 3360xp per invy.

 

They are the same total cost, oak doors are the faster exp. So, I would do the doors

 

If you are quick you can do larders before the butler returns, but if you can't keep up do doors, they're both the same xp at the end of the day, just slightly different rates.

 

To be honest, I made carved oak tables until 67. I just wanted to be able to make house tabs ;D
