ok i bought account. It got recovered 2 days later. I filled out all the information
requested from PA and they have not gotten me a response yet. Its been 2 weeks now getting a bit ridiculous! Any 1 else have any trouble dealing with them? they are awful with customer service after you buy. All they say is the mediation team is working on it... the seller told me threw chat that he was recovering b/c he didnt wanna wait the 30 days to have the payment clear. I also purchased membership + $50 worth of gold. Im pretty sure PA wont help me out with that either. No idea how they are so big when they are just awful

PA Is very bad site to purchase through. They have over 1k negative reviews on them atm. People who have gone through the same exact situation I started doing research after I purchased a account. Seller cancelled order due to fact of not having details. I've been waiting on refund for 2 weeks now.

I really don't like using PA unless the person is very trusted. They can claim they have "insurance", but what they don't tell you is that it takes over a month for them to contact you back.

Overall terrible site.

 

No site is safe when buying accounts. The only way to insure safety would be buying it from someone trusted that has made enough or has something to lose.

2 weeks sounds ridiculous, by now the "hacker" (owner) could have recovered it, reset the bank pin, clean the account and return it to you.

 

They probably deal with a lot of account recoveries on a daily basis

I trade accounts on PlayerAuctions (mostly sell) occasionally. I use them because:
(1) it protects me somewhat.
(2) People use it to buy accounts because they feel it's safer.

From my experience it's not much different then any other site in terms of safety for the buyer. In fact it is probably worse because people go into the site with the illusion that if they buy the account (1) it wont get recovered and (2) if it does get recovered they'll get compensation. (1) is obviously wrong, you have to follow the same rules as any other site -- look for how long the user has been a member and their reputation during said period of time. (2) Is also wrong, PlayerAuctions will take months to respond to you, and usually it will be to say they're contacting the seller, etc, etc. Eventually, if they grace you with a response it will be to (a) tell you it's not their problem (b) if you're extremely persistent they'll give you the equivalent in credits to use on PA.
The lesson behind my lecture (I apologize) is to follow the same rules for buying accounts as you would on other sites and to not buy insurance (total scam).

Edit: "What do you mean 30 days for payment to clear?" PA pays within 2-3 days for most if not all monetary choices. I also didn't realize he recovered on the 2nd day...he shouldn't have even received his payment yet (especially since he's obviously a new seller I'm assuming).

 

player guardian protection for 30 days i purchased it. Btw still no refund or resolution from PA. I caution you guys to stay the fuck away from them.

But yeah they have really bad customer service when it comes to disputes with rs accounts.
