Mobile Theme

Time for a new one? fucking terrible on my phone. its like 1000px wide, and I have to re-zoom in everytime I go to a new page. Defeats the purpose when Im on my phone.

 

It works for me just perfect on my iPhone 4s...

Why'd you be using a mobile theme anyhow? I just go Safari -> www.sythe.org and works just as well as the normal website.

 

I use the same one on my desktop for my Android Sony Xperia and that's fine. I'd agree with having the mobile theme updated for newer phone models.

Not everyone uses that overpriced phone >.<

 

I have the Xperia too. not sure why the themenosnso wide for me.

 

Are you using the stock browser?

 

I'd really like to see an update to the Mobile theme! The current mobile theme is just...

It's easier to use the original theme on my iphone, says enough i think :/.

 

Man it might be something to do with the settings on your phone, it works fine on blackberry.

I've used this before and it's a nuisance, but the normal one loads just as fast on my iPhone, so I can't really see the problem. Would be nice to see it get updated though.

The normal themes work far better. VB adjusts well to lower resolutions anyways.

 

Don't use the mobile version, just load it like a normal template and do it through there, it does the same shit.

 

I don't think it'd be any better unless someone was paid to do it, but I think the owner is a tight ass and doesn't want to waste money. The new lay out is a perfect example of that. I know what you're talking about with the re-zooming thing, I'd support a basic light blue and grey (or any color) that doesn't zoom in and out, and it's just one size.

 

We don't need it IMO. I use the regular theme on my iphone.

 

Yeah same, I find it works better tbh. Perhaps we should just do away with the mobile theme altogether as it is becoming obsolete now?

Everyone always falls prey to it anyways when they just change to it to see what it's like and can't figure out how to change out of it haha.

 

I'd go with this. The layout of the forum already does fine when you shrink it down. But if we could easily get a new mobile theme, I wouldn't care.

 

Lets be honest on this, how many people still use a mobile theme when they have a choice. I'm sure some people can't but still.

 

Most people just use the regular theme and it works just fine. Having to re-zoom every time you load a page isn't a huge issue.
