    To relieve my stress, I started to box. Yes it helps me let go of my stress during the time that I am boxing, but in the long term, I think that its just making it easier to assault the people that piss me off.

    Previously, I had trouble hitting somebody even in a dream, let alone getting into a fist fight because my conscience wouldnt allow me to hurt anybody. however, since I've started sparring, it all seems so easy now and i cant remember why I couldnt hit somebody before.

    Or maybe it's because I just started.

    If not, can you guys provide any other alternatives? Im asking for the best you have and know.

    You can always do something you enjoy. Try a hobby which you enjoy, let it be bike riding or jogging. Personally, when I'm stressed out I do the usual, get headphones full blast and go for a walk or jog.

    Only you know what you like, unless you explain more we cant really help you. How about you tell us some things about yourself so we can help direct you in the right path to overcome your stress.

    Try and change boxing to something like Judo, Jiu-jitsu or Ninjitsu. Although you can hurt your opponent a lot with these you are often taught discipline and how to avoid a fight, rather than throwing yourself in there like boxing.

    You do learn a lot of holds/strangles that work a lot better than violently hitting them. If you hurt them they will want revenge, but you if humiliate them they'll stay away. (by humiliate I mean getting them in a wrist lock or arm lock etc and making them say sorry or make them do what ever you want.

    Shoop has a really good suggestion above me, about learning martial arts. I used to take some Muay Thai kickboxing & some Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu (just briefly for a few months), but it was absolutely incredible. I got to get all my rage, stress, anxiety, depression out and that was all replaced with confidence and feeling calm and collected throughout the days. I really looked forward to sessions :)

    I never had the problem with wanting to just assault somebody when they were pissing me off, but in martial arts you are taught that what you are learning is "self defense" and not an excuse to go beat the shit out of bullies, or people who are irritating you for that matter. Half of the lessons are physical, but the other half are mental, and you learn to control your mind, your emotions, and just become better at self-discipline in general.

    I think whatever you are doing... whether it is boxing, BJJ, kickboxing etc, will benefit you in the long run if you stay committed to it and you fully absorb the lessons. Just try to stay out of fights if you can, just because you are learning a combat sport doesn't give you an excuse to go pounding on kids just because you feel like it or because they are "pissing you off".

    My biggest stress reliever is going for a walk/jog, as stated above. Get some good headphones, ones that block out any external sound, and just go for a brisk jog/nice walk and blast music. It truly helps.

    Personally i sit down and roll my self a fat finger j and go for a walk in the woods. Maybe you could try taking a nap, or do something constructive with your time like homework
