What happened to the runescape ads at the bottom of the page? They had been there for years seemingly, and now there's only an image-hoster, wikialpha, and a WoW site. Did they all suddenly and simultaneously terminate their advertising?
If you look, it would seem as if all of the old ads have been changed. I cannot say with a certainty, but my best guess is Richard terminated them and is changing them out.
The buy Wow account and the wikialpha ads are both the same. Did the previous companies pay for a set amount of time which expired recently? Or did Richard actually force them off the site?

The number of text ads down there has been declining for years. Richard mentioned somewhere about losing them or something years ago.
The only person who'd know the answer to this is Sythe himself. However I think that he rented the space for those ads with them all having the same termination date. When that date rolled around he sold the spots to new ads. Its easier to keep it organized if you keep a single termination date for all advertisements, at least I'd think so.
