It's great, but not for the price.. I thought that Apple will make a much cooler product.. An A5? BIG FAIL! Now, Google Nexus 7 has a Quad-Core, 1.3GHz Tegra 3 and is priced at 200$ iPad mini got that A5 dual core (0.8/1ghz)
You've hit the nail on the head. Way too expensive. $379 or something in Australia for the one with the smallest storage option.
It looks like a waste of money, to be honest. The iPad is the perfect size for things like reading in passing time and video conferencing, but not really awesome at anything else. What's the mini going to accomplish? Nothing. It's like a big cell phone. We've gone full circle, and soon we'll be back to this:
It's the type of ignorance found in Apple fanboys that makes me lose faith in the future of technology, and humanity in general.
What do you think about the ipad? Any pros and cons you can think of? I'm in the market for a tablet leaning towards the google nexus 7.
It sucks, Apple really has lost their way again. It doesn't even include a retina display. I think the Kindle Fire HD and the Nexus 7 are currently better options.
^^THIS. honestly, it's just another apple product. One that I will not buy, just like all the rest of them. Perhaps soon, people will start realizing what they're actually paying for, and Apple will go back to being a "nobody." I, for one, wouldn't miss them a bit. Every idea they've "come up with" was already done before them. Long before them. They simply revolutionized it, but they'll be quick to sue you if you say you came up with it first!
