I am starting development

I have setup a server on my home computer i will be doing small projects on such as custom quest chains, items, mobs etc... This will be a work in progress and any coding/testing help would be appreciated... ideally someone on around 4-11 pm GMT+10 for testing as i wont have the server on all the time and would be looking too only test certain things at each interval... I will be starting with some more interesting quests... i.e. allies have too assasinate someone on the outskirts of a horde town etc... leading onto other thigns wont give too much away.

but yeah anyone who could help with coding or testing post here your MSN and i will add you so we can talk.

 

I could probably make up a batch or two...I'd prefer to wait until MaNGOS supports 3.0.x, because then the batches could not work due to the newer DB changes in the user changes for actual 3.0.x servers

 

My issue being that QUICE isnt wanting too work at all for me ATM ='[ coming up with bizzare errors etc.

 

i could if its 3.0 i can test

 

What kind of errors are you getting?

 

dynamic libraries cannot be found: libmysql50.dll, libmysql.dll

 

Make sure you've got the latest version, available at http://quice.indomit.ru/ ; if you can't find the libraries in the new version or seperately on the site, then they are also required for Mangos runtime (which alternatively means that they should be in your Mangos folder ).

I don't know anything about the coding lol, but I'de love to test for you. And i have a HUGE wowscape guild under my belt, so I could get you population. I dont have an msn anymore ill make one and pm you it.

 

Fixed my error... moved QUICE into the right folder lol... I will be making a few custome quests etc first too get used too it first...

for testing i will be probably looking too start that in a week maybe two... at the moment it is running 2.4.3 so any wowscape players can just swap realmlists... If anyone has any ideas for custom quests or NPCs or items etc let me know.

 

I'm a scape player so ill be able to switch, as for the ideas I cant really think of any, one thing that i always liked was raid quests, like killing this boss this many times will give u this.
