Harassment in TinyChat

Hi, I was recently emotionally bruised to the core. I was invited to sytheoffical's tinychat, by my friend gohan. I talked with a few people, and it seemed alright.

Then things took a turn for the worse

A user posted a link to some ad thing, and me being the trusting person that I am, clicked on it. I wont name names (Im not a snitch) but it took me to some laggy crappy webpage offering me 300000 dollars in a year for some survery b-s.. It also wouldnt want to close but it finally did.

I was quite suspicious, so I decided to ask the other people in the tinychat if it was like, a known virus.

That was when all hell broke loose.

I was told that it was a RAT/Worm and I was getting hacked, and that the person was gonna remotely access my computer. I figured that latter part was TOTAL B-S and the virus thing itself MIGHT be b-s. Then they told me to unplug my internet, so i figured what the hell better safe than sorry, so I did. I then scanned my computer with Norton, and just found some low risk tracking cookies which dont hack or anything, they just like see what sites I go to and stuff. I went into TinyChat again to tell them I was fine and I scanned, but I was then flamed to the point of a ragequit when I got 10 messages from 10 people saying norton is a piece of shit virus protection.

I dont think ill be going back their again. Nvm, ill just go back when I feel I can handle the flaming of being the newfag

I guess im just too guillable :/. LOL
