Guide Verifiications

Can we get some sort of verification system for the guide section?

I've seen so many guides being sold that are easily attainable on the internet with a simple google search. It's ridiculous that they can write up a guide in word document, put it out there, and sell for whatever price their asking for.

All I'm asking for is to have a mod/member have a guide verifier rank (or something of the sort) to be able to verify the guide is legit, that the money p/h the seller states is true, and that it's not easily found on the internet.

We used to have an official guide verification team, and we shut it down for a number of reasons. What you should do is ask the guide seller to have a reputable member review their guide (I actually just did this today for someone), or, if you are a guide seller, offer to have a reputable member review the guide. If you see a guide that isn't verified or reviewed, and you think it's fishy, don't buy it!

 

I'd like to see this put in place, but also a rating system for how easily the method can be saturated, wether it's as profitable as the seller says it is etc.

It's not even that. It's that clueless members by methods/guides that are already out there. Need some sort of system out there that can prove a guide is easily found.

 

Same answer though - buy stuff that's been reviewed by a reputable member. We would never implement a system where guide sellers would have to submit their guides to make sure they're not common methods.

 

We don't need a rank for members when all they need to do is some light research for method they want to purchase.

Can anyone tell me why the old system was removed?

 

It was largely inactive and unnecessary. I'm going to close this thread, thanks for the suggestion regardless.
