God???

I'd like to ask everyone on Sythe about this subject, & maybe they can help me out.

People say there's no god, but why? Is it just a coincidence that the sun orbits around us so perfectly? Is it a coincidence that without the moon we couldn't survive? How did it all begin? What started everything? Is there other dimensions, possibly other "projects" gods working on.

I'd like to know everything you guys have to say about this interesting subject!!

But different opinions I suppose, I put it down to evolution.

 

God is real, Theres to many things that a "big bang" could not have created.

 

It's staying here because it's such a reoccurring debate. Instead, I'm going to keep it here for discussion purposes.

 

my opinion:

it wasn't that perfect, not sure how long it took, but it wasn't just a big bang then adam and eve... the earth took ages to grow life and humans adapted to life on earth (evolution)

with all the time and space there was bound to be some solar system that could provide life on a planet.

 

Just saying if god is real, why does he make all those people in third world countries suffer, why does he let young children die of cancers?

I'm not saying he's not real, if he is he's gotta get off WoW and help these people out.

 

no god that's just the universe and how gravity works. Bible was created to maintain order and set base beliefs "I feel"

In a time when gods were birds, lions and dragons and people like zues "powers" Jesus was the first person to label "GOD" as a human. This caused people to follow him and be able to relate to him more. As time went on people added stories/took stories out. Then the church twisted the fuck out of the bible to maintain control. Ever wonder why in the middle ages churches were able to have so much control over people without having a army?

Anyways god real? NO IDEA could be but I'll find out when I die. Why are the planets and stuff all there and why is everything "perfect" that's just how it works. Orbits really aren't perfect if you look at the planets orbital path. Nothing is really perfect at all its basically mass chaos. Mass chaos created what we know as the universe "things blowing up, things running into each other, mass freezing, extreme temperatures so on.

You gotta think to you said something about them moon. Well over millions of years we developed with a moon so to remove something so big and drastically out of our lives we may not be able to survive but say there never was a moon and we developed then everything would be fine.

Honestly believe what your body tells you. Believing in a god or any superior being can only make you better I feel... Well for certain people. hope this helped =)

Your reasoning reminds me of Bill O'Reilly's reasoning. Just because there is something that can't be explained, god isn't an answer to it. It is a possible answer but a more logical one exists, although for somethings we might never find out.

As someone said, the rotation of the objects in space are due to the laws of physics. Due to gravity and all those other complex science stuff, orbits and stuff happen. It's been going on for millions/billions of years now.

Imagine a universe without a god, and you place objects there. It has to adhere to some laws of physics. It drops, floats, spins, whatever. It doesn't simply not exist because god doesn't exist as god doesn't dictate the laws of physics.

Eh, my rambling might not be clear as it is getting late.

 

Everything is TOO perfect for there not to be.

That being said, I'd rather live like there is a God and there not be, rather than live like there isn't and there be.

 

Without the moon we wouldn't be here discussing this, so moon is not here for us, we're here because of the moon.

And the Earth orbitting the Sun is purely Physics.

 

I imagine god as everything, its not like an old man with white clothes... Its like everything : molecules, atoms, gravity, physics, chemistry and mathematics. But I strongly disbelieve in religion which is oldschool business.

 

Yeah the decisions you make based on believing god or not is not only based on opinions. There can be influence on your decision(s) based on your religion and you can be affected by peer pressure as well. Sometimes people follow the religions of their friends take their beliefs and culture. It's different for everyone.

 

That my friend is still the biggest mystery in life to date. How did we even get here.

 

Because people like to argue about shit that doesn't matter. Whether or not there is a God shouldn't affect how you act on a day to day basis..
