Glitching Post Patch

Damn, he's one of the lucky ones..

 

Is this the old glitch where you'd go up the ladders in the Lumbridge Courtyard? If so, that's cool Hopefully he doesn't get reported by anyone though.

 

Yeah it is, It was discovered a few days ago and someone wrote a guide on how to perform it. Apparently the story this user gave was that he logged off in the 'glitched' position before Mods started banning users.

He also said hes walked to Tut Island, not too sure though on the legitimacy of that statement.

Is this the bug where you can walk all over RS in the sky?? I just saw that on Chris Archie's channel yesterday and thought it was pretty damn cool. Jagex is fucking banning people for that though?!

 

Still is bug abuse, regardless of how it affects others.

 

That is true, but if its a perm ban that is a little extreme. I could understand a 24hr ban just to get the point across.

This is true, and I agree. But permanently banning players for abusing a bug that is merely "cool" and "fun" rather than something they profit off-of, or that harms other players, is extremely harsh in my opinion.

They don't even ban RWT'ers, most botters who get caught, or scammers at this point. So why would they ban somebody who is abusing a harmless bug?

 

Maybe because abusing a bug makes jagex look baaaad!
