Ghosts

Do you believe in them. Yes, No? Why?

 

I'm 50/50 on this one. I remember when I was a kid, I was trying to sleep. I had my hands behind my pillow, grabbing it, and what happened was, I felt this skeleton like hand touch my back fist and I freaked out and put my hands in the blanket.

Well I guess if we make it 10 point system i would call it 1. Why? Just because it seems like scientists have proven enough already to ensure about things like that, but there still seems to be some unexplainable topic's which in this case can make some confusion for me.

 

Nope, because logically they cannot exist. A spirit is said to be the essence of an individual left behind after death; but what makes the person while they're alive? Their personality and consciousness which is developed in the brain and is the brain. Spirits don't have brains. Not only that, but ghosts violate all sorts of other biological laws, chemical laws and certainly physical laws.

I do and no one will be able to change my mind no matter what they show / try to prove to me.

 

*Sigh* No I don't and wouldn't ever, I have yet to see real proof that they do in fact exist. So far when I say this people just show some stupid video that are most likely fake.

 

I do believe they exists. I don't know if I would call them ghosts, but there is definitely something out there that hasn't been explained.

For one, I believe in them because I've used Ouija boards countless times, and they work the majority of the time. The people who were playing weren't moving it, I'm sure. The board would spell out things that everyone wouldn't move to anyway.

A very convincing piece of evidence for me personally is this picture my cousin took.



Look on the left edge there is a clear picture of a young girl. The girl is standing over a grave of a dead 12-year-old. No one in my family could edit a photo like that. I'm sure it could be proven also that it's not photo-shopped either.

 

I personally don't, but to be honest we'll never know. Everyone who doesn't believe firmly believes all 'evidence' is fake, therefore there will probably never be fullproof evidence for everyone.

 

Thats fucking scary. But a cool picture at the same time.

I believe in them because of personal experiences with friends and creepy shit

 

I like to think to myself that they are, but truthfully i try not to believe in such things.

I just like the idea of loved ones watching over me, and seeing that i do well in my life.

 

i believe in ghosts 100% because when i was about 10 i had about 3 experiences with ghosts in my bedroom in the same house but most of it stopped after i moved. so yes i believe

 

No, it's just vivid imagination IMO. But one can always hope, would be more exciting that way.

 

Your logic is so mistaken, according to that I'm a millionaire unless you prove otherwise. Now your don't have any physical proof that I'm not so does that make me one? Just because you can't (Rephrase that don't have the time) prove something doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

 

I couldn't see the girl so I closed the blinds in my room, turned around, saw it and nearly had a heart attack.

I personally don't believe in ghosts. My idea of ghosts may be a little prejudice as I see them as a faded human that cannot be touched, felt, etc but I just can't see the proof of them being real. What Blupig mentioned also makes sense to me.

 

I believe it's all just lighting and/or objects in the shadows which produce what people think to be ghosts. They are a result of the limitations of your brain, not someone's soul which has some reason to 'stay behind'


Also, if you believe in ghosts and are in a dark room, you're susceptible to somewhat of a conformation bias when your ability to see clearly fades and some dancing shadows play tricks on your mind. You might perceive it as a ghost even though there is no substantial evidence for it.
