Getting Bored? :L

I've been playing League for about six months now,on and off, but now the game seems really boring to me. I'm only level 23, and I usually play Classic Summoner's Rift Blind Pick. I'm not sure how good I am, but might not be the best. :noworry:

I usually play as Support with Braum or Jungle with Master Yi.

Any helpful hints/suggestions to how to make League fun again?

 

Play ARAM or Dominion, you may find it a bit more fun. Other than that I have no idea, other than playing with friends while using Skype etc.

 

To make the game fun again you need to mix it up bro, pick some new champs. League of legends should only be boring once you've mastered or played alot of games on each champ.

You're level 23 after six months? Uhh, play more. That's an issue. I've been playing for around 14 months now off and on, and I still get an enjoyment playing champions that I don't usually play. Every game is different, and the competitive nature is awesome.

Ranked at 30 is very important, I love playing it. Ranked keeps me motivated to do by best, and I honestly just enjoy the game.

 

As most suggested already, play different champs man. Also try out different game modes. The current "Legend of Poro King" is actually kind of fun--yolos everywhere. I haven't been playing too much recently due to my busy schedule but did play a bit since it's currently the holiday break for me still.

Play with friends you know too, that makes it even more entertaining lol.

 

Don't play support, ew.

Also once you get 30, play ranked. Can be much more entertatining

 

Play with friends and try different champs. Try new methods and read some guides on unique builds that can be fun to play. If you're NA, feel free to ask me to play!

 

The best way to have fun is find people who enjoy the game and voice chat with them while playing, me and hubba used to troll in normals with the blitz/thresh pull and thats the most fun ive ever had on league.

 

League over all is a really slow paced repetitive game, you have to take long breaks for it to be fun again, id say play a game or 2 a day and then stop anything after that you will just dread the game, league is one the only games that ive played that is so slow paced and boring after a game or 2.

Play with friends while levelling. Honestly, the first time I levelled to 30, I was 90% of the time playing with IRL friends, or friends I knew from other forums/games/RS etc. Having people to play with and being on Skype/TS with them while playing (normals especially, and especially as a new player) makes the game faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar more fun and appealing. Once you hit the level 30 mark, and have a few hundred games under your belt, you'll most likely get into ranked, and everything will change.

 

I totally agree with you. Ever Since I moved to LAN he said he's been getting bored. I told him to come to LAN but he's not agreeing because we used to play with each other almost everytime

 

Okay now I'm addicted again. I have so many projects due but can't stop playing...help!

If you can't control yourself there are other ways -- uninstall/give PW to a friend

 

I played that Poroking mode over the holidays and it really livened things up for me.

I was like you, and getting really bored playing classic 5v5 mid lane mostly, and I quit for long periods of time.

So when I tried this mode with some friends and felt like I was playing a new game, I was thrilled!

I don't know if the mode is still around but if it is you should give it a try and just throw poros everywhere!

If it's not around, try switching it up. Go top-lane, go with a different champion that you've never played as before. You'd be surprised how fun that can make things even in bot games.

 

Ranked is a whole new experience.

 

I found ranked to make the game seem more toxic to me. People get pissed off too quickly at the smallest things..."What the fuck Sona, you took my CS!! fucking noob." Meanwhile Sona took 1/200 CS accidentally lol!

An exaggerated scenario, but LoL is known for one of the worst MMO players out there and I believe it's because of ranked games.

I find normal games are a nice changes when this happens ^_^.
