What's the best computer you've seen in the trash? I just found a good dual core Athlon 64 machine and am actually on it right now xD
I saw some old laptop next to a dumpster, along with some other junk, and also had the dell logo on it. It was weird, because it was burnt.
Well when I was like 6 my Dad threw away our old computer. Windows 98, slowest and crappiest machine on earth but being 6 years old, I wanted it sooo badly. Never seen any others throw away.
Here are the full specs of the one I found: -AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core @ 2.2GHz -1GB RAM (will upgrade) -40GB HDD (there wasn't one in it when I found it so I grabbed a random one from my house; will upgrade) -256MB integrated Nvidia GeForce 6100 (will upgrade) -Win XP Pro SP3 -DVD+-RW (RAM2) -4-in-1 card reader The thing looks like absolute shit, the case is pretty much deteriorated and the whole bit, but it's runs real nice and smooth. I'll put it in a new case later; I actually plan on using it as my main PC from now on xD

Missing harddrive - maybe it was a pedophile's PC and they trashed the drive and threw out the tower either way, lucky find! I found a gameboy in the trash once :C
I found my PC from when I was 6 in my own trash when I was 15... It still had the same Windows 95 Install from back then.... I miss the days of searching in IE for digimon cheats :embar:
I found a Nintendo when I was like 7-8. Like the first Nintendo that had the duck hunting game with the orange gun. I think I still have it somewhere but never tried to play, so I don't even know if it's still working.
I found this comp some Falcon thing and i didnt like it and i went google it and i saw it was worth 12k$.. go figure Seriously, i found some old computer with pentium 3 and some old ass shit stuff and win98.. still works tho
Yea falcon's are worth 12k if you get them fully done doesn't mean that particular model(bs or not) is worth 12k. You can get them as cheap as 1000 as long as the case isn't customized and the specs are low-mid end.
I once found a very nice computer (of the time) in the garbage, the only thing that was wrong with it was the graphics card was fried. I had an old computer lying around which the ram had gone bad in so I used the graphics card from that. I used the computer for almost a year before i got a new one.
