Wondering what the best specs would be to be able to play ESO and stream it when its released, they havn't relesed min reqs just wondering what you guys think / experienced.
I'm running a AMD FX-8350 8 Core processor with a Radeon HD7850 GPU and 8 gigs of ram and I was running ESO Beta on max settings without a problem. Bethesda said that the game would be playable on lower end and even fairly old PCs so you really don't need a monster system to play the game, but you'll definitely have a more enjoyable experience with a higher end system. Another factor to consider is that they're releasing ESO for next gen consoles, which are the equivalent of a current mid range gaming pc, and the processing power of possibly a low end gaming pc. If you're looking to build a new pc you could easily build a decent machine for under $500 and have a great time with ESO. Also if you'd like you could post your current specs and I'll let you know how ESO will run for you! If you haven't already tried.
This depends entirely on if you want to future-proof your computer and play other games, or if you're basically making a rig just for ESO. Like Serenade said, the system reqs are actually below those of Skyrim. So, if you're looking to just play ESO and don't care about other games or future-proofing, then go with a little bit above the max requirements of Skyrim and you should be fine. If you want to future-proof to an extent, sink around $1000 into a rig and you'll do great. Buy AMD for processors and Nvidia for graphics. You could get away buying a cheap old Phenom II processor, or go a bit higher and get an FX processor. Those things are pretty good. Everything else is fair game.
