Find all threads by

This is not going to be anything remarkable or in fact necessary, but I feel that it would be something worth doing for both holistic coherence as well as being able to save a few clicks now and then.

What I suggest is:

Normally, when clicking on someone's name, you get the following


Since "Find all posts by X" is there, I'm suggesting to add a "Find all threads by X" to this list.

Finding the threads started by someone takes 3 clicks and the page must be loaded thrice: Click name -> view profile -> threads started by user
If this were implemented, you would save 1 click and 1 page load.


This could save some time when looking for someone's vouch thread who doesn't have it linked visibly in their post or if they were referencing a thread but didn't supply the link.
I find the "threads made by" search function to be more useful than the "posts made by" function anyway.

 

Support, I use all threads made by "x" more than all post made by "x".

 

Hmm I'm often doing this to people but need'a do 3 more clicks that needed.

I support. Not only will it lower clicks and page load times, that should also help reduce a little bit of traffic on the site.

Um, actually you can make it take 2 clicks. Click search, type in the user, then click the button. I don't find this necessary, you're all just lazy.

 

It can take out at least a minute, especially with google chrome being the way it is now. There is no reason it shouldn't be done, just reasons that it should. Saying, no, just because somebody is lazy, is an awful reason to not support something that can be very useful...

 

I think it's fair to equate a keystroke or two to a click - so, no.


And no, this isn't necessary - it would just be a convenience.
