Phatalize has done this kind of thing in the past, every time he's reported for it mods tell him it's HIS responsibility to recover as he's the original owner. He's clearly just money hungry

 

This is not true so ill just take care of the random bits and pieces while we wait for a mod.

I didn't message any customers about his account, today someone messaged me asking about my accounts, then pointed out hattez account to me since I was OO and I told him I don't take responsibility for that account anymore. "several" "began messaging" all lies.

I would assume this is what Hattez tells his buyers(skipping the part where he had the wrong user in the first place) and this as well is not true. He would not be the 3rd owner. And I am not the only user with "any and all information regarding the account", a lie as well.

Talked to one person for the first time today about the account, told him I don't take responsibility for it anymore.

This has no effect on my account sales and is no issue to me at all. I'm being "difficult" because of mixed opinions from mods and the lack of current rules for the accounts section.

That would also be untrue as I haven't talked to anyone about this account until today, when someone messaged me first.

It is tough for a lot of people to understand the issue behind these reports and it has NOTHING to do with the money or the unlocks/recoveries. Please try to get all the information first if you would like to post and I talk to everyone who asks me about this and explain it to them as clearly as possible.

 

@phatalize unfortunately due to you being the OO and with Hattez having valid information of the account being yours, you will be held responsible to recover the account. That being said, if @phatalize feels sketchy doing a recovery for someone, i'd recommend him to make a report first before getting approval to recover the account.

 

This is the problem with the association of account responsibility and just sending a recovery/un-lock attempt. Everyone connects these two in their head because that makes sense, but that is not true. I cannot be held responsible for an account that has been tampered with, hacked, passed around to many times because why would I be held liable for another person mistakes. I keep the accounts very secure and sell to one person and I am always there to help with any issues, what they decide to do with the account after that is up to them, it is their account. This was also confirmed in the last "scam report".

it took 3 attempts because I had to input new and different information on all attempts. The only way I was able to get a successful recovery on an account with this many issues was because I spent a lot of time doing it, and I know my way around Jagex's recovery system. I don't believe I should be expected to do this with with all the accounts I sell, and with whoever that buyer decides to go deal with next. If this was about the money I would just buy back the accounts and sell them for a profit, easy as that. Obviously that is not the issue here.

it was already decided in the last report, read it and you can see this is the same account.

 

Guys, I'm going to make this very clear and there are no further questions after this. If the account is hacked/stolen/etc, it's not on Phatalize, he is not the one responsible. This account has been sold COUNTLESS times, there's no way the original owner can be held liable for everything that happens after his original sale, especially if the account is constantly being re-sold.

That being said - if the account is hacked/stolen/locked/etc. then Phatalize will be required to submit a valid recovery request to get the account back, but if it fails there are a boatload of factors to take into consideration.

This shouldn't be confusing to anyone. Phatalize merely used specific words such as "liable for the account" but the truth is he is NOT liable, he is merely going to be forced to send in a recovery. What happens after that is not a black and white answer.

 

@Dave how many resales are allowed before the original owner can no longer be held liable in the case the account can't be recovered?

I understand OO should submit an appeal anyway to help but ultimately won't lose out in $

Perhaps if this was made clear in the rules with a set number these issues wouldn't happen

 

They say every account has to be dealt with on a case by case basis because of all the unique factors and that makes sense. It is tough to make rules for this stuff but something should be more laid out so this doesn't continue to happen, it's 2 full threads about the same account.

My email was hacked a month ago, I believe the hackers had targeted me since I have had an elysian spirit shield on my main.
Only account they could of get on the email was the maxed ags pure of Phatalize.
Luckily I only had around 60m07 on the pure but they took the pure also.

For someone who 100% knows the account history and fully read ALL reports maybe you should have read them more closely, or you're just lying.

 

I was unaware it was hacked. God damnit your right and im completely wrong. Fuck me
