Why is my ex-mod rank gone?

Matthew said all staff who choose to leave, get the rank and userimage. Finn had my userimage removed because he thought I wasn't being a very influential ex-mod (what the fuck does that even mean) and now my ex-mod rank is gone?

 

I assume Matthew was referring to the fact that sectionals are as deserving of the rank as globals. You'll note that he still differentiates between leaving and demoted staff; clearly, the circumstances matter.

All ranks are a privilege; therefore, they can be revoked. The staff no longer recognizes you as a representative of this site; in addition to the fact that you abused your rank and leaked screenshots of the staff lounge, your new attitude has become tiresome. If you truly don't care about the site anymore, I think you can survive without your rank.

To be honest you'll be lucky if you keep that one too as well as your user title...Having special ranks and user titles kind of shout "Hey I used to be important here, look", which in itself is worse than having an ex-mod rank with your new attitude since members will inquire about the rank and title and wonder why without it being slapped in their faces.
